“Fantastic quality shed, looks amazing and is high quality. But instructions were really hard to understand - not very clear at all. And we had 2 missing bits”

“The shed went up with no problem. Just one problem after was that not enough
clearance when the wood expanded due to rain, so once doors opened I was unable to close them.”
“I was somewhat surprised that our shed was delivered on our front driveway without us knowing as they didn’t knock or ring the bell. Overall the shed is good but it came with one broken in half joint strip plus another with a chunk missing off one edge. The biggest disappointment was that where the front doors fit with a gap but there was no wood provided for this and so I had get my own. I hope other people don’t have the same problems and it would have been nice for the delivery driver to knock / ring and check we were happy where the shed was left.”
“Excellent, sturdy double wheelie bin screen, I bought it from Screwfix. I actually bought this to serve a rather different purpose, to replace my ageing double compost bin! It's ideal for this, rotating to a different side each year, emptying from the front and filling through the top lid. I added two barricade beams at the front to hold the doors shut against the weight of the compost and used fence paint to improve longevity.
Delivery was prompt and the on the day tracking information was excellent. Would have given five stars but for three reasons. Firstly, it wasn't a double unit, it was two singles which stand side by side. Not a serious issue and its possible to screw them together but means a double thickness of wood between them. Secondly, although I knew this would be self assembly, the work involved was far more involved than I expected, none of the holes were pre drilled, these all had to be measured and drilled by the purchaser, including hanging the door hinges and positioning the hinge correctly for the lid, so a greater skill level is required than some might be expecting, and some people may not own the tools. To make matters worse, one of the supplied wooden beams was about an inch too long and it had to be cut to size - causing some confusion, but the fact was confirmed by checking the length of the same piece in the other bin.
As a result, I had to employ a handyman to assemble this at a cost of an extra £70 to be sure a good job was done, as I wanted it to be right. None of these things are made clear on the listing.
So, on the whole excellent, I would buy another as a replacement when this one rots, but let down by a lack of up front imformation on the website and difficult assembly..”
Good afternoon Mrs Harrison, thank you for your detailed review! We're glad to hear that you found the wheelie bin screen sturdy and suitable for your composting needs. Your feedback about it being two single units instead of a double is noted, and we appreciate you sharing your assembly experience. We understand that self-assembly can sometimes be more complicated than expected, and we’re always looking to improve clarity in our product listings. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused by the pre-drilling and beam sizing issues. Your insights are valuable, and we hope to make the experience smoother for our customers in the future. Thank you for considering us for your replacement needs!

“A lovely shed however it would have been much better if the holes had already been made ready to put it together. Also you have to saw the wood for the roof this proved difficult.”
“I do like my log shed the only issue I have is I wish the roof overhang was a bit wider say another 10cm
Maybe could have done with 1 more length of roof timber”
“The bad bits, wrong size screws sent, one of the batons was split in two on a knot. The good one erected it looks amazing, my wife and I spend most evenings in it, we have installed electrics so have an oil filled radiator that heats it up in seconds and have put a large rug on the floor. It is warm draught free and looks amazing so for the money even with the bad bits incredible value”
“The building was delivered on time by a very helpful and pleasant driver. In general we are very pleased with our purchase and believe it is good value for the money. We did experience two issues: the roof did not fully fit and we needed to build a small insert. The main door was quite badly warped which did not show during glazing and painting but was apparent once fitted.”
“The summerhouse is really lovely. It was difficult to build ourselves and was only possible because my husband has built similar things before. He made his own foundation then built the house. We had to buy longer mails for the roof as the ones provided were too short. The delivery man's manner was completely unprofessional and the house kit was delivered a day early!”
Hi Lynda, thank you for sharing your thoughts on the summerhouse. We're glad you find it lovely! We understand that building it yourself can be a challenge, and we appreciate your feedback about the roof nails and the delivery experience. Your input is invaluable as we strive to improve our service. If you need any assistance, feel free to reach out.
Best wishes,

“Though not erected as yet, the delivered summerhouse looks well constructed. Just waiting for a raised deck, as in flood area.
Glad there are glass window/door panes, rather than Styrene.
Delivery was prompt and the driver was very helpful.
This is a replacement and looks better than the original from different source.”
“It looks beautiful but parts are a bit flimsy to the extent that added pieces of wood had to be added to make it more sturdy. There was no lock provided so we had to put an old one on for security.”
