“So pleased with quality of our summer house. The instructions were very clear & thoroughly helpful for my husband age 75 to follow. Painted with my 15 yr old grandson's help. Yesterday we had a working party of 2 sons & grandson & it was great to see them all working together on the build. ( one thought is we could have done with more 40mm nails) We would certainly recommend this summer house unreservedly!”

However, I got 6 rather than 7 battens for the corners, panel joins and door, so had to go and buy one for a few quid. I also needed to go to DIY store to get some door catches to keep the double doors from opening even with the bolt closed.”
“My garden shed is brilliant, very easy to put together my son managed to do most of it on his own just needed some to help hold bits together while he secured them. It is a brilliant size just what i wanted for a quite a smallish garden. It was amazing how much i can fit in there. The delivery person was very good and nice.”
“I spoke directly to shire to confirm the delivery time slot and they were very helpful. Item actually arrived earlier than expected on delivery day which was another positive. Item quality excellent and better than other sheds I’ve had from different suppliers. All items were present which was another positive. It took about 3 hours for 2 of us to put the main structure up. Definitely a 2 person job as the roof panels were especially heavy . About another hour and a half to felt it and another 2 hours to fit the fixture and fittings - the main fiddly pieces were the windows especially the beading pieces which were a bit reluctant to go in ! Partly our fault for deciding to add sealant to the Perspex window panels and then leaving it overnight - meaning the silicone had formed lumps and gone solid in the space allocated for the beading which made it difficult to fit them - tip if you want to add sealant get all the beading in first ! The finished playhouse looks great and best of all our chickens (who we bought it for !) laid their first eggs in it overnight , so they approved as well . Definitely a solid product, looks attractive and highly recommend Shire from start to finish”
