“I ordered the poached, fried, boiled and egg mayo. The positives - the egg mayo and the boiled eggs are great.
The poached eggs weren't runny at all just a solid yellow lump that separated from the white during cooking meaning that the white just took on water like a soggy white pillow. They taste ok, but definetly need more kala namak. The fried eggs were a disaster, I heated the oil until smoking as instructed but the white remained jelly like, the more I cooked it the worse it got and then the yolk split. All in all it was a sloppy disaster! I had such high hopes but don't feel like they're quite right just yet.”
“So far I have only tasted the fried egg and it is absolutely amazing.
It tastes the same and even smells the same as the real thing, obviously
without the cruelty.
I will certainly keep on buying!!”
“The missing piece of the plant based journey jigsaw puzzle. Finally a realistic replacement for eggs. Having missed the flavour and convenience of cracking an egg it's just as simple to pop one from the freezer into some boiling water and serve.”
“Very well packed. Just two of the fried eggs had thawed out. The fried eggs are really nice but the egg mayonnaise is just amazing. I just couldn’t get over the taste and texture was so real it’s been so nice to actually have a decent sandwich. I shall certainly be ordering that again and will recommend to friends.”
“Brilliant service, packed well, arrived still frozen. How amazing to have something soooo close to eggs again, all the taste, no cruelty!! Will definitely be ordering again.”
“The fried eggs require some mastery but I reckon I might have cracked it, I will know tomorrow. The sandwich filler is as delicious as the one I usually make - which is essential. I'm expecting to make a south-east asian "boiled egg" curry tomorrow which will be fun as I haven't been able to make anything like that for 45 years. The poached eggs will remain in the freezer until next week! So far a good experience - even the errors with the first two fried eggs were tasty! The hardboiled eggs were used in a copy of a street food vendor hard boiled egg curry recipe that I saw on a Facebook reel. The actual recipe included meat and eggs that were cooked in the curry sauce. I used vegetables in place of the meat and mindful about your warnings on exposing the eggs to heat I simply served with the hot curry poured over the eggs rather than heating the eggs over the flame and in the curry sauce. By the time my partner and I were tucking in, the hard boiled vegan eggs were hot and stable. Very tasty. Next over the weekend I shall utilise the poached eggs.”
“The fried eggs certainly had the correct flavour but were difficult to get out of the pan - perhaps I did not cook them long enough bit they did not keep their shape?”
“Wow what can I say. Delicious delightful products, I can't get enough of the sandwich filler which is my favourite. So real and authentic, well done!”
“With trepidation I ordered both the Fried and the Poached eggs, I don't mind telling you that I was very nervous of eating them as I previously had a horrible experience of vegan boiled eggs from another company. I need not have feared these, OMG I had the fried egg on fried bread and couldn't believe how good it was, it was a little mushy but that may have been my fault. I had the poached egg on top of a mushroom risotto and it was fabulous. My only gripe is the packaging cost, £5.99 is a lot especially if you just want a packet of fried egg, the product itself though is really game changing.”
