“Been on the hunt for decent anti-blister socks after last year’s ultra absolutely chewed my feet up. Tried a few different types, but recently came across Sums and they’ve been a solid find so far.
I went for the extra cushioned versions, mainly because I tend to get hotspots later into long efforts. I’ve now used them on multiple 20-mile hikes and runs, and honestly, they’ve held up really well. Comfort-wise, they’re spot on — no slipping, no bunching, and they feel pretty plush without being overly bulky.
Most importantly, I’ve had no real blister issues so far, which is a big change from previous experiences. That said, I haven’t pushed them yet in full ultra conditions, so that’ll be the real test.
Overall, early impressions are really positive — comfortable, well-cushioned, and doing exactly what you want them to do over longer distances. Definitely promising going into the next ultra.”
