“After trying a couple off different styles of socks I came across sums and I wasn't disappointed. I have done four 2 races and al my training in them and they are just perfect for me. I love the colour choices and if you by more then one pair you get discount what a winner. Will be back for more thanks guys”
“I used these socks for the 24 Peaks challenge and Lakeland Trails 100k. They were comfortable and I had no foot issues in either event despite heavy rainfall in one and a heatwave in the other! They will now be my go to trail sock!!”
“Never thought that socks could make such a difference - extra cushioning and bounce. Sums got the thumbs up from others who bought them in our little running group too. Also very easy ordering process and swift no nonsense delivery.”
“I returned the socks as not as expected. For me
I needed a sock that gave me plush cushioning in the bottom; if felt too thin & light. They also come up too long; starting to cover the calf which I felt uncomfortable even for a crew sock one length. Not for me sorry.”
“Never thought I’d say this about a pair of socks, but they fit snug, compress in all the right spaces, support my feet and have never had and rubbing, blistering or soreness after a run whilst wearing my SUMS!. Amazing product!”
“You could buy socks from the corporate athletic overlords or you could support the little guys, SUMS. My faves are the checkered design ones. They have just the right amount of compression and stretch to make your feet feel secure but comfortable on your run. If you’re out running a lot in the UK you’ll probably bump into because they love a running event too. Oh! And they’re a nice bunch because every time we buy a pair of socks they give a certain amount to a charity supporting youth running in East London. Sounds like that all adds up to me.”
“The Ascenders, bought on the recommendation of my bro who recently completed the MDS blister free. Really happy with them (so much I bought a second pair!). Using them over a liner sock and I’m blister free on rough terrain. Snug fit but comfortable when shoe on.”
“I bought 2 pairs of socks, one of the ascender and a pair of the all seasons. I do most of my longer running on the trails but with trail and road races coming up I'd wanted to try both socks. Whilst both socks are comfortable, I particularly appreciate how comfortable the ascender socks are over varied terrain - the thought in the design really comes through. So far the socks seem fairly hardy and haven't been troubled by heather/thorny bushes/other kinds of obstacles feet encounter on trails, and the socks seem to wash well. So far so good!”
“Took my Tom Evan’s ascenders out for a spin yesterday for the Peak District ultra, kept the same socks on for the 53k and no blisters! that for me pretty much speaks for itself in a heatwave! Also after having done the lakes 100k 3 weeks prior.. I highly recommend the socks and I’ll be using them going forward on my travels.. many thanks
Matthew Sykes”
“Exactly what you want in a running sock, I no longer have to worry about my feet during my half marathon training. I want to fill my sock drawer with SUMS”
