“I was thrilled with my first box of clothes. They all fit well, and I've already had fun wearing them. I was really pleased to see that they simply arrived in the box with no additional packaging (which is what renting is all about). For me, this is the only rental service that has made sense: you get to enjoy the clothes for a few weeks, rather than days, and you can put together a few outfits, and it's genuinely affordable. I'm looking forward to lots more Devout boxes in the future! I love the way you can experiment with different styles without the commitment of buying. My only problem was that the delivery company left the very tempting box with 'New Wardrobe Inside' (!)on my front doorstep whereas I asked for it to go in the back garden.”

“I am very disappointed that there has been no delivery of the new items despite my selection which was made 2days ago.
What this means is that by the time you bring the 10 items, i would have only 1 week to wear them all. That to me defeats fhe objective. Please cancel my subscription from this June. I await delivery /pick up of the last suspension charged.
DO NOT CHARGE ME FOR NEXT SUBSCRIPTION. this is my cancellation request. This website has been developed in such a way that it is easy for users to sign up for the subscription but impossible to stop the subscription.
You mentioned an option to chat with someone re:support yet there is Chatbot seen anywhere. No telephone contact and ut takes the team reminder emails bed a response is received. I have made a copy of this complaint and will post it on the public review board.
You need to improve your customer service.”
“Loved the idea and the first (and only box) I ordered had lovely clothes. So nice I kept them for 5 months.
The problem is when I cancelled and returned the products I thought everything was sorted.
Then 4 months later and with zero communication they took 4 monthly subscriptions out of my account on the same day (£236) which has left me unable to pay my rent this month.
I have no idea yet why that happened but it's safe to say I'm both angry and disappointed.
IF there was an issue with the return why the hell didn't they contact me to let me know.
Such a shame as I can see from reviews that customer service is a strong point.
I've now paid 9 months subscription for the same items (2 x £39, 2 x £79 and 5 x £39) = £431 in total for items I had for 5 months.
I feel robbed.”

Thanks for your review.
As you know for your subscription to be cancelled, you must return your items to us. Unfortunately we never received your items back and so your subscription had continued. We wrote to you in January, February and March advising you that we had not received your box back.
Your payments had continued to fail against this but instead of charging you for the value of the box, we had kept your subscription active in the hope you would return the box.
Our payment provider continued to attempt to charge your card each month however it kept failing. When it was able to successfully take a payment, it then began to take payments for the previously failed payments.
As a small business ourselves, we rely on members returning their goods in order to make them available for other members.
We are still happy to recieve your box back and cancel your subscription for you.

Agree with another reviewer about the sizes that are not always available but there is still plenty of choices.
I finally stopped unnecessary fast fashion purchases with this service and still have the monthly wardrobe refreshes.”
