Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“Beautifully soft, lovely colours, AMAZING SMELL. Glad I took the chance on trying a different company from previously. Third personalised blanket as a gift to my best friend and by far our favourite. The scent used on the blankets is out of this world! We cannot wait for your secret to be revealed on how you achieve this. Very quick turn around time too. Highly recommend.”

“I bought the organic cotton bassinet blanket for a baby gift for a special friend. It was my first purchase with ThreadThe Word. I live in Perth & the gift was going to a Melbourne address. It was delivered very promptly. The friends absolutely love the blanket. They said the quality is excellent. I notice most of their baby photos have the blanket snuggled around their beautiful baby girl. I will definitely make ThreadTheWord my go to for baby gifts. Its fun creating your own design. There are enough choices to feel you’ve created a unique piece.”
