Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“I've purchased 3 for our 1st granddaughter. They are excellent quality and reasonably priced. We have another grandchild due in Oct so we will be purchasing 2 more very soon. I'm always very wary about buying things online but was extremely happy with how easy and stress free it was.”

“We purchased our customised embroidered blanket at the Melbourne PBC expo. We met the owner Peter and he was so friendly and helpful, we purchased a blanket on the spot! The final blanket has now been created and arrived less than a week after ordering and we are so so happy with the outcome! such a beautiful piece that you can tell has had a lot of time and effort into perfecting. We are sooooo happy with this purchase and cant wait for our little girl to get here to use it!”

“We absolutely love our blanket! The quality is amazing, the colours are amazing and it keeps little man nice and warm! Always sleeps so good with his blanket! We also lay it down on the floor for little man to lay on a comfortable place for some floor time! Now I have to get Miss 3 her own when I can!”

“We received this as a gift for our newborn son from a friend. It is absolutely stunning! Personalised with his name, beautiful colours and fantastic quality.
