Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

We hope you love your blanket as much as we loved creating it!

I am nothing short of obsessed and in love with the quality and design of the blankets. They would be the perfect baby shower, birthday, Christmas and everything gift. Absolutely nothing negative to say. I’ll continue shopping with thread the word for any future personalised blanket needs 🩵🩵 • I would recommend starting at bassinet or cot size and skipping the newborn size as they grow so quickly! • Thank you Peter and Annie 🩵”

“At the risk of sounding like an obsessed cat lady, I bought 2 personalised (catalised?) newborn size blankets for my 2 cats to sleep on instead of the nondescript rugs that I've had on our lounge chairs. They just look a whole lot nicer & I'm sure our 2 furballs appreciate them. Just to be clear, I have purchased other blankets (cot sized) from TTW as gifts for actual human babies, & they were beautiful. They're keepers as the babies get older & I love that they stay a special item for a long time.”
