Hi there, we’re Thread The Word!

We’re an Australian business located in Melbourne and dedicated to creating beautiful, personalised blankets. All of our blankets are an order of one and knitted just for you.

We are very passionate about making all of our products in Australia. We have been producing personalised gifts for over 10 years in the photo industry.

Our blankets are knitted from 100% combed cotton. Combed cotton is super soft and we do not use any harmful chemicals so they are perfectly safe for babies and children.

“We really loved the spot patterned blanket we ordered for our new granddaughter.It was a gorgeous purple colour and such good quality. So nice to have a personalised gift. It was very quick delivery too. Would definitely recommend Thread the Word !”

“Purchased a bassinet blanket for my niece as a welcome present. A personalised blanket was a favourite gift I had recieved for my own child and wanted to share the unique gift. I chose threadtheword as they had a much quicker turn around time then another Australian brand. Quality is great, came super fast and is so loved by the family it was gifted to!
