TLDR: It works, but it takes a while and gets hot RESULTS: After 6 weeks, I've seen about half of my leg hair go away and believe the results will continue if I keep doing this 2-3 times per week. HOT: That said, the whole thing is quite loud and hot. I have to go over any sensitive areas (bikini, armpits) first because the device gets really hot after about 10 minutes of use. TIMELY: Before I bought it, it wasn't clear you needed to go over each area 3 times after a fresh shave. To do my bikini and lower legs take about an hour which is significantly longer than what is advertised online. OVERALL: It works, but I wouldn't describe it as easy. Nood requires an hour+ routine if you want to cover more than one area of the body in one sitting (not including any breaks to let the device cool down).

I’m a month into Nood sessions. I’m shocked at the progress. I have to shave daily. These photos are a week without shaving a month into treatments.

So far I am really impressed with the progress I am seeing with my Nood. I have been using at the max level and sticking to the recommended uses each week. The best part about the Nood is how quick and simple it is. It is virtually painless - but I will say there is a little more sensitivity in delicate areas, like my bikini area. So far I have used Nood on my underarms and my bikini area. I will commit to my legs in the Fall/Winter. Using the Nood is making a HUGE impact to my life. I have extremely dark and thick hairs. I have struggled with ingrown hairs, quick response-growth, and darkness my whole life. I have already noticed a change in the hair growing cycle and the thickness of the hair. One complaint is that I wish the laser facing was a little smaller. It can be a bit tricky to maneuver it under my arms and the bikini area. But I do not see it being an issue for my legs at all. I love the auto feature too! I have added a photo of my progress. You can visibly see the slowing growth rate in some areas. I used to have to shave my armpits DAILY. this has been 4 days and still not even bad. I also uploaded a picture of what my hair texture is for reference. You can see just how thick and dark it is.

placed my order about a month and a half ago. My shipment never made it to me and was instead returned to sender. No response from customer service even though I have sent multiple emails trying to either get a new shipment sent or a refund. really frustrating.

The product worked. However it caused burns on my bikini line. Yes, I tested it and had no issues initially however over time certain areas were more sensitive and burns occurred. I returned the product.

I've been using this for a while now and have not seen a difference. I'm hoping can send back.

I've been using nood regularly, according to the directions, for 3 months. Treatment areas have been my armpits and also my bikini area. I've not seen any change in the hair on either area. I also now have been having allergic reactions to my deodorant (which I've been using for years with no issues) and I have to shave my armpit more often because the hair growth agitates my skin. Using nood has made my skin more sensitive. Do not recommend

TL:DR - The verdict: Chin and upper lip, not perfectly hair free but I am okay with retouching every 2-3 weeks depending, as it is much better than waxing imo. As far as the underarms, the hair is definitely less thick and lighter in color (still dark) but it has continued to grow back all along the 12 weeks of treatment, unapologetically so!  Due to scheduling constraints, I was unable to begin treatments as soon as I received my Nood The Flasher 2.0, so I knew I'd possibly miss my return window before finishing the required 8-week treatment. As per the included instruction card in my Nood box, I did the recommended 2 sessions a week for 8 weeks. I did this for both underarms, chin and upper lip. I followed all of the instructions to the tee, the shaving, the exfoliating, the routine, proper placement, the three passes over, etc. and did it all at the highest level (7). I am a light-skinned Latina with dark black hair and of European white, African and Indigenous ancestry; prime candidate for Nood based on their skin tone and hair color guidelines. I began to notice results by week 3 on my chin and upper lip, but the underarms remained unchanged. By week 8 I was not "completely hair free" as Nood claims but I was content enough with much less hair growth and decided I would do an additional 3 sessions a week for another 4 weeks, in the spotty areas still growing hair. All in all, 12 weeks of treatments, totaling 28 sessions on both underarms, chin and upper lip. Plan was to start with these areas before moving to more sensitive and labor intensive areas where the requirement of shaving before a treatment becomes problematic (ingrown hairs, rashes, etc) in between sessions if the Nood doesn't succeed in performing as expected and advertised. Nood The Flasher 2.0 did not perform as claimed, for me, therefore I will not be using it in the bikini area or legs, unfortunately and especially after having read of the struggle others are experiencing with their Nood in these areas. I wrote to Nood about my experience prior to writing this review and their response was basically repeating the instructions I had already stated following and pretty nonchalant.

Seems to work pretty well. I’m 1 week since my last shave in this pic and I can’t believe how little hair is on my legs. Can’t wait to never shave again!

Nood gave me first degree burns on the lowest setting. 10/10 would never try again.

So far with 6 weeks of consistent use, I have noticed a huge reduction in my upper lip hair and in my leg hair. It seems to work really well with thin hair. My armpits and bikini lines have much thicker hair and I have barely noticed any difference with those.

I was skeptical about how long it would take to see results. It is going to take a bit longer than I thought but I am starting to get very hopeful. The only trouble I am experiencing is that even though I have the device on a level 6 the only times I can really see it working is when I get so close to the skin it actually hurts a little. I did it once on accident and noticed that that was the spot that worked the best…it is painless but the one accidental painful zap is what worked…you can even see it in the photo a little!

So far some results on my legs, but not working on my underarms. I think it needs more time. I noticed my blonde hairs are still growing on my upper legs, but not the super dark ones, which makes sense since it can't get the blonde ones. I would be happier if it was doing more on my underarms.

I don’t doubt that it works. It definitely will take A LOT of sessions and each session can take up to 30min+ depending on how many areas you want to treat. I have medium-light skin and dark brown hair. This still hurts to use on settings 6 or 7 (the recommended setting to see results). I tried OTC numbing gel and it was still uncomfortable. I have had laser hair removal at a dermatology office and it was a much faster process. It was also painful, but they gave me a prescription numbing gel and the session was like 5 minutes. It was much more expensive, of course. The reason I didn’t continue with Nood is because of the pain. I’d rather do 5 minutes of moderate pain than 30+ minutes of mild to moderate pain (knowing I’d have to do many more sessions). If that info doesn’t matter to you, this could be a great product.

I’ve used the product for about 4 weeks on my armpits. now and I’m not seeing great results. I’ll continue to try it for the full 8 weeks just because that hair is fairly thick. It is easy to use and I’d prefer to use Nood over shaving

I've been using the Nood laser a few times a week for the past two months on my legs and although the results are not as great as I had hoped, I do see some reduction in hair growth. I get pretty bad ingrown hairs on my lower legs and the irritation has diminished a bit with the use of the Nood laser. I am going to keep up with the treatments and see how my legs look after 3 months.
