“It’s a nice design unfortunately the water needs to run for 2 minutes before the PPM goes back down after it’s been off for an hour, so I guess the water sitting in the system becomes dirty sitting there for more then an hour.”

“I am on my second filter and based on the direction on the system I am suppose to replace the filter when the filter light flashes. I ordered a filter replaced it based on the instruction of the system and got about 30 days in and the filter light is flashing again. At $100 for a filter this is not economical.”

“Water flow is not good. It takes 5+ seconds for water to start. 6-8 second glass fill rate advertising is fraud.
TDS in water is not consistent. It varies from 5 to 100+ Ppm, shown by the water drop faucet itself. 100 ppm water doesn't taste great and I have to often throw it out.”

“The Waterdrop under-the-sink is a slick device. The installation is simple, and the cartridges make it a breeze. I will warn you, however, that the filter won't produce anything more than a dribble of water (and the company will blame your installation and your water supply even though absolutely nothing has changed in your home) UNLESS YOU REPLACE BOTH FILTERS AT THE SAME TIME. This is expensive and silly because one has a longer life span.
Horrific customer service with no assistance given to this issue whatsoever, and we have had the Waterdrop unit for several years and have been through this with them every time we change a filter.
Replacing them both at once is the only way you can actually get decent water flow out of their spigot.”

“We have previously owned your typical, "Storage Tank" RO system. After finding out about the quantity of water used to flush the system, I did a test of my own. It was an unbelievable 6 to 1. 6 gallons of water to each (1) gallon of water used. The old system came out that day. The water tasted great but I wasn't about to waste 6 gallons down the drain. After some research, I found Waterdrop. They claim 1 to 1 on the water usage. So far, after a simple installation and a month or so of use, the water quality and taste is every bit as good as our last system, but with far less wastewater. The water flow is on the slow side but that is expected because of the mechanical pump used to push the water through the RO membrane. All things considered.....worth every penny.”

“I am very disappointed in this water filter. It does not stay at a good level for drinking water and is always raising up, even a brand new filter. In fact, the new filter is not a good as the old one. I do not understand why it rises up to almost 90 ppm before dropping down under .010 which is minimum for good clean water. Sometimes take 2-3 minutes to be ready to drink so I am wasting a lot of water and the filter. I am getting 7 months instead of 1 year because more than half the water is just going down the sink. Not happy.”
