“Wow, worth every cent!! Although, I wish I had of chosen an extra night; 3 nights/ 4 days would have been less rushed with less Km's on each day. Our guide, Lee, was exceptional. Cool, calm and collected. His knowledge of the history and landscapes is extraordinary . Sometimes too much info to absorb. The "Tourist-hands-on" approach was an added surprise, but helped keep the tight schedule on track. We went where the buses CANNOT go!! 4WD is the only way to see it close up. Food and tents were adequate, but don't expect any glamping! A fast paced 3 days, so don't expect a relaxing tour. Brilliant, even for the unfit over 60's.”

“Experienced knowledgeable guide. Flushing toilets and hot showers 4/5 nights. Real beds and yummy food. Loved our tour. Central Australia is unique and beautiful. Very early morning starts, to ensure we were not hiking in the heat of the day. Loved the hiking. We are in our late 40s, unfit and carrying more weight than we should, yet found the hikes enjoyable. Kings canon first 15mins certainly got the blood pumping. Being in a small group, we got to know everyone on the tour. Goggle tranlate was helpful. Plenty of opportunities to recharge batteries once at camp sites. Field of lights is beautiful. Well worth the extra money. We are planning to do another tour 2021. (O/S holuday next year) Definitely will book wayoutback safaris for that trip and the next.”

“The Tour was great fun, we were really well looked after and if we'd had more time, then we would probably have done a longer tour. The staff were excellent, helpful and knowledgeable and not afraid to get their knees dirty!”

“Our day trip to Litchfield National Park was amazing. Our guide, Joey, was prompt, organised, friendly, very knowledgeable and made it a relaxing, fun and educational day. The tour group was small, which was great. We visited the termite mounds, learnt about the Aboriginal's use of different plants and animals. We swam in 3 different pools, which was very refreshing and the scenery was spectacular. The bbq lunch was basic, but very tasty and there was plenty of food. We would highly recommend this tour and this company.”

“The tour Leader and the Itinerary were outstanding. However the bus airconditioning did not work and the tour group was well over the advertised numbers. This made it quite uncomfortable. I emailed but never received a reply to my concerns. I would not go with this tour again.”

“From the beginning to the end of the tour it was perfect. Tour Guide was well informed about the history and other interesting information. good information about the tour and accommodation. Very rarely I needed to ask for information.”

“The truck was a bit beaten and the guide on his few last trips before quitting, you could feel he was out of it. But it didn't prevent the group from having a great time !! Everything else was just GREAT !! Sleeping under the stars in the swag is the ultimate contact to nature you can get :)”

I was sorry to hear that your guide didn't offer the best experience; For some, guiding can be a temporary or seasonal role but the same level of professionalism and enthusiasm is expected regardless of tenure and I'm sorry that this was not the case during your tour. This is certainly not indicative of the overall standard of our team who are known to be knowledgeable, caring and passionate about sharing the Northern Territory with our guests. “Annie the tour guide did a great job highlighting the scenery and the Aboriginal Culture. The places we visited were breathtaking but the highlight of the trip was the cultural visit at Top Didj Katherine.”

“Loved my time with Wayoutback! Overall amazing experience. There is two main points I would say could be approved. 1) have the same guide and group for the whole 10 day tour. Was a bit exhausted from meeting new people all the time and would have loved to stay with the same guide as well. It takes 3 days to get used to each other and swapped right once your comfortable is a shame. 2) I was registered as a vegetarian and my options were good. But I saw how much meat got thrown out. I really believe that Boone needs meat for breakfast lunch AND dinner. C”

“Good guide (Shannon), comfortable bus, the trip was well-organised in terms of how much we got to see every day. In general, it was really good value for money. The only negative thing about the trip was that my friend and I got upgraded and ended in a group with a bunch of French people who walked really slowly.”
