“I ordered a Whyte E-160 online, quickly got an email confirming my order. Followed by another email telling me it was despatched with code to check delivery status. I waited a few days and saw that my bike had been delivered to DOD Glasgow therefore I expected delivery the following day. When it didn’t turn up I check the status and said that it was on its way back to the sender.
I tried calling Winstanley several times and no one answered which started to concern me, this prompted me to send an email asking them to give me a call.
A chap called Paul said he would follow it up and get back to me. He did get back to me the following day to say that he was informed by CPD that the bike was too heavy for them to deliver it and he had no other method of getting the bike to me. I suggested I travel down from Scotland to collect the bike, certainly not ideal but the lad Paul was very helpful and ensured the bike was ready when I went down.
I didn’t check any feedback prior to purchasing the bike and very concerned when the bike didn’t arrive but dealing with Paul was a pleasure and he made sure I had no need for concern.
Thanks Paul for all your help and I hope the company appreciate all the hard work you do to ensure you meet customer expectation.

“I ordered a MTB online, however, the website crashed when it was processing. The money was taken from my account but I received no order confirmation from them. I tried the call them the following day, however, I was frustrated to find out that they had disabled their phone lines.
Having read all the negative reviews, I was very concerned about both my order and my money. I emailed them and was pleasantly surprised to receive a reply in less than an hour - although I was disappointed to find out that the order had not registered due to the website crash. In the end, I requested a full refund so I could purchase the bike elsewhere - this was back in my account within 2 days.
Winstanley’s really need to sort their phone lines out - it is pretty ridiculous that you can’t speak to them by phone, especially when you have an issue like I did. That being said, they replied to my emails promptly and were very helpful. There was also no problem getting a refund.”
