“Can’t praise this enough! Bought the clutch union kit for my wife’s Fiat 500. Went to Fiat initially and they quoted me £409 for replacement clutch master and slave cylinders (parts only!). Saw this on YouTube and ordered. Arrived on time, nice looking kit and only took an hour or so to replace. Used a pipe cutter I had for brake lines rather than a hacksaw, much neater finish. Must confess I haven’t used the self amalgamating tape yet as I wanted to monitor the union for leaks for a while. All good so far!”
“The kit was very good and was supplied as advertised. However, there are some observations:
1. The tape on the back of the rubber is completely pointless. It only serves to get in the way when you are trying to get a good alignment prior to gluing.
2. The glue is a must as the tape does not offer any substantial fixing.
3. Instructions in the video for trimming at the ends and over the middle brake light could be clearer and provide the user with better instructions for getting a more professional finish.”
