Is the $3 trading fee per lot per side on the Elite account type considered an attractive one?
Asked by Oriol Cuenca (1 week ago)
A $3 fee per lot per side is pretty competitive and adds up to $6 per a round turn. It’s right in line with what most brokers charge on premium types of accounts. It keeps costs reasonable while staying within industry standards, so it’s a good deal overall.
Answered by yagosaldivar (1 week ago)
What account of all those provided by the broker can suit an intermediate scalper?:)
Asked by Eric (1 month ago)
Oh, boy, it's not that simple to answer. If you are a scalper, then it's definitely something about Elite account. Skill level doesn't play any role in this case, because all accounts are suitable for intermediate traders, beginners, seasoned ones and all that. Elite is a good choice, cuz comms are small. Also you can check the VIP account. It suits scalpers too. Dunno, just compare.
Answered by Antonio Avendano (1 month ago)
Why did they create so many trading accounts, isn;t it just confusing, or am I mistaken?
Asked by Franco Mora (2 months ago)
XS offers premium trading conditions that cater to traders of all levels. Traders are unique in their styles, strategies, experience and preferences; a single account platform will have a tedious account with unnecessary features. The multiple accounts are available for traders to choose which is more suitable. Knowing your trading needs is the first step to avoiding confusion.

If I’m a complete beginner trader, how can I benefit from using PAMM accounts?
Asked by Jordi Ramos (3 months ago)
I will try to explain as simple as possible: You invest your trading funds in a PAMM account, which is managed by an experienced trader. According to your total share in the account size, you gain a percentage of the total gain that the account has made. You decide when and how much you would like to withdraw from your profits. That’s it. Perfect solution for beginners!

What should I know about this broker's commissions?
Asked by Ian Reyes (3 months ago)
Among all types of accounts, commissions only on Elite and VIP accounts. All other accounts are commission-free. Opening and closing orders with 0 commissions. As for commissions, it is not large
Answered by Henrique Gil (3 months ago)
Quite a bit, actually.. Different accounts have different fees.. What you have to know is this: generally therea are 3 types of accs, with almost no comission and spread, with no spread and comission, and mix of both. Xs has all, and you should choose what works best for you, so here you go: https://www.xs.com/en/accounts/account-types/professional/

What can you do with their proprietary card besides hassle with money on the platform?
Asked by Bartoli Costa (4 months ago)
As far as I am aware of their proprietary crad, besides various money management things inside the platform, one is also able to pay offline and online with it, like ordinary card, you know. To make purchases and so on... Idk, there are likely preciser T's and C's available somewhere on the site... Or when you issue a card you will have more information regarding how you can use it.

If you mean their prepaid XS mastercard, it looks like a usual mastercard with some benefits. As far as I know, you can do most things like cash out at ATM, do online payments and etc...

Will there by any international demo competitions for all countries?
Asked by Lucas Ramirez (4 months ago)
Afaik, there are some international demo competitions alongside country-specific ones. Basically, it's cool that they run them because there is nothing better for skills improvement than competitions without risking your own funds. So, follow the Promotions section on the website and check info about upcoming events. I am sure there are such ones for people from all countries.

By the way, how do you deposit/withdraw money here? What is your preferred method?
Asked by Roberto (5 months ago)
I usually use either skrill or neteller. These are systems which allow me both not to bother about safety of my funds during transaction processing and to have funds in time. Minimum deposit, if it's interesting to you, is just $15 while other methods demand a bit more money. So, it's compatible with what I need: fast and secure depositing/withdrawing. These guys know what traders want.

Ah, could you tell me please, what account is best in terms of cost-effectiveness?
Asked by Aritz S (5 months ago)
They are all kinda balanced in terms of cost-effectiveness, you know. First and foremost, it's important to determine what pricing model is the most suitable for you, as there are accounts with commissions and spreads. But, according to my observations, regardless of whether you pick VIP or Elite account, for example, you will have nice pricing. Bear in mind trading time.

Is it beneficial to have more than one account on this platform?
Asked by Bautista Quesada (6 months ago)
Yep, its always beneficial. They allow you multiple accs so you should take them on that offer! Personally I use Cent, Demo and Pro. First 2 to check my stategy (but mostly to go yolo on some stuff, to be honest). Pro for trades I really believe in.

Can you tell me more about the account types offered by XS and the best for someone with little experience?
Asked by Enzo Salazar (6 months ago)
I can write a whole manuscript if you need, but I ain't see any point in that :) Fortunately, they provide with exhaustive information about available account types on their website and you can freely visit it and familiarize with them. There are 8 of them with various trading conditions corresponding to different traders' demands. If you are the one with little to none experience, then choose something from Preferred accounts. There are Cent, Standard and Micro. All of them have spreads and no comms, Cent account is a kind of substitution to the demo trading.
Answered by Videl Claros (6 months ago)
Yes! I love this broker and how unique it is, and account types are actually one of the reasons. So, they actually offer 8 account types: - Elite- Pro - VIP- Cent - Micro - Standard - Classic - Extra There is also ofc demo account, but my guess you're not asking about those. All accounts are available on MT4 and MT5, exept Cent that is only for MT5. Last ones, Extra and Classic are special accounts, reserved for managers, people who trade on behalf of others, partners of XS etc, so they are not avaialble to you, at least not easily and not if you're in this thread. Pro account types (Pro, Elite, VIP) are available and are actually the reason I trade here: they have extremely good conditions. You should choose one of them if you are experienced enough imo. Exact one depends on your strategy: - Elite is $3 comission per leg at almost 0 spread - Pro has no comission, but higher spread - VIP is low comission and low spread, but need to have high volume for that If you trade low amounts, $3 comission to get in and out of position might be significant. But personally, I would take it compared to higher spread. Depends on the frequency and volume of your trades, but I would really advise for ELITE. Its worth it, in general. This is also the most unique account type XS has, everything else you can easily find elsewhere. Now, 3 lower account types, Micro, Standard and Cent, I don’t advise to anyone. If you're so unsure about your trading strategy, might as well trade on Demo. Spread is higher here than on Pro accounts even, and there is no advantage, exept that you don’t lose a lot, as it forces you to have lower volume. If you're in need of those types of accounts, you should probably educate yourself first, would be a better use of your time rather than trying to win with random $50 or $100 trades.

Is it safe to trade through XS broker, what arguments can you provide?
Asked by Levord Paulsen (7 months ago)
Well, first of all, this broker has a pretty good personal data protection system. I have heard that some novice traders don't understand why XS uses such a protection system. But after traders have large amounts in their accounts, they stop asking such questions. In addition to the login and password system, broker can offer its reputation as an argument. This is well-known company with excellent reputation and therefore it can be trusted.
Answered by Justin M. (6 months ago)
Besides and enviable kit of licenses from various regulators, XS also ensures full-fledged protection of funds and data guaranteed by the contemporary data encryption technologies. So, it's safe.

What is the standard or average spread for Bitcoin?
Asked by Tahir Martinsen (7 months ago)
Good question, man! Trading cyrpto is hot now. At XS it depends on the account type. As far as I remember here are the average figures: -For Elite account it is around 541.4 -For Pro it is similar to Elite, around 540 -For standard it can be 543 -For Classic 545 -For Extra 551 -For VIP - 64!!! So, if you are a scalper, I guess VIP is the choice for you:) But bear in mind some commissions too...

Does this broker charge a swap fee on futures?
Asked by Alex Cavalcanti (7 months ago)
As far as I know, no. XS does not offer any swaps on futures. But I might be wrong though. I do not trade futures mysefl, I use XS and I trade stocks mostly. On equity I do have swaps. But anyway, you need to understand that there are many account types. And some accounts do have commisions on futures. Also,of course, spreads are dependant as well.
Answered by E. Luna (7 months ago)
XS offers excellent trading terms on futures. The spreads depend mostly on the account type you trade with, which means with more advanced accounts you receive improved spreads. However, regarding the commissions and swap fees, the aspect you are interested in, you should be careful which account type you choose. Most of them come without commission, except the Elite acc which provides tighter spreads on futures, but a trading fee is charged here. Regarding the swap fees, there are no such fees on whatever account you choose.

Is there any difference between using the MT4 and MT5 on XS?
Asked by Andres (8 months ago)
Buddy, both MT4 and MT5 are trading software solutions developed by MetaQuatoes, a company specialising in this field. Like many other brokers, XS is using its apps as trading software. I am writing this to better understand how it works! So, the difference between those two apps is general and doesn’t depend on the broker. As for the main differences, MT4 is the older brother, and hence, it is less advanced compared to MT5 in terms of cheating tools, built-in indicators, etc. MT4 is widely considered a simple and user-friendly app that is easy to learn and get accustomed to! MT5 is no less friendly, but it is preferred by those who prefer more charting tools, indicators, and, in general, more advanced options.
Answered by Martin (8 months ago)
Yeah, there are certain differences, even though it's the same engine. Metatrader 5 is a more advanced software compared to its predecessor. And various features are listed on the site, check them!

What is the dynamic leverage that XS has? Is it any different from the standard leverage?
Asked by Karlo Borge (8 months ago)
Does such high leverage pose any threat to ordinary retail trader?
Asked by Samu Taavettila (8 months ago)
Not sure what you mean by "leverage" when you mention such high leverage. In general, leverage is a double-edged sword. It can amplify your profits, but at the same time, it can also hurt your account badly. However I would say that the risk-management strategy is instrumental in protecting your account. With a solid plan, you can trade even with an x2000 leverage without a problem.

Asked by Alvaro Campos (8 months ago)
Punto...

Asked by Isaac Moreno (8 months ago)

Good question. Of course, I can share with you what I know about some XS functions: - quick and convinient registration procces; - premium trading conditions; - availability of access to the global market; - secure payment methods; - multilingual customer support. With these features I have mentioned, XS provided a nice experience to me. You can easily and securely trade various assets in one account. To summarise, XS offers a suitable and advantageous offer for me.

Man, bunch of them. The whole platform is ONE BIG FUNCTION. Hahaha, just kidding, nevermind. Count them: - dynamic leverage; - prepaid xs mastercard; - partnership programs; - variety of accounts; - PAMM; - enhanced insurance. and the list can go on and on. I advise you to visit their website and read about everything on your own. It seems to me it would be more valuable to you to shape the opinion about XS.

Asked by L. Vázquez (9 months ago)
Permíteme ayudarte a comprenderla mejor.

What is the best way to select an account when trading here?
Asked by Igor Alves (9 months ago)
It seems to me that algorithm of your actions should be as follows: 1) Decide what your trading style and trading strategy is. Then you will be able to understand what you need for trading. If you don't have trading strategy yet and you don't know how to come up with one, then choose standard account type. It has the most balanced trading conditions. 2) Then decide whether you are professional trader or beginner. If you are pro, then choose separate category of trading account types. 3) Open account type that you think is the most suitable for trading. Don't be afraid to make a choice.
Answered by Leonardo Tinajero (9 months ago)
First of all, you can try their free demo account. After that, you can decide to choose the most comfortable for your needs. To inform that, there are preferred account types which are micro, cent, and standard account types. It depends on your experience, you know. If you want to start with low-risk, you can choose micro or cent account types.

Asked by antonio (10 months ago)
Answered by Domingo (10 months ago)

Why do the broker have many trading accounts?
Asked by Benjamin Rico (10 months ago)
And why not? First of all, big choice in trading accounts gives the room for shoulders to traders and their strategies☝️ And after all I would pick the broker with the range of accounts rather than the forex broker without it. It’s always great to have freedom of choice.
Answered by Raimo L. (10 months ago)
Good question. I assume you are at the very beginning of your trading journey, I remember back in the time when I was starting I had the same question while wondering which account type I should choose. Let me clear this thing for you. You probably already know that different brokers have different trading conditions. Also, different trading strategies demonstrate different conditions. So if a broker offers one account, that means that he has chosen to offer one kind of trading conditions for all kinds of trading styles and strategies. On the other hand, brokers that have multiple account types have slightly different trading terms for each account adjusted to align with different styles and strategies. With this, the broker is a suitable option for a wider range of traders and trading strategies.

It says the broker offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5? Which one is better for trading with XS?
Asked by S. Navarro (10 months ago)
I don't think there are fundamental differences between these two platform. ? The fact that MT5 is more fresh is unquestionable, but actually, even despite it, people still continue choosing MetaTrader 4 because it's a time-proven platform. You can easily gauge the performance of each of the platform either by trying them, or just examining the features and specifications given by the broker. MT5 is a bit more advanced, but it doesn't mean MT4 somehow concedes it. These are two flagships of the industry.
Answered by Aaron (10 months ago)
Honestly, you can choose whichever one. They all work just fine. But the MT5 has some tools and capabilities that the MT4 doesn't. I do not think it will make a difference to you anyway.

Asked by Carlos Barca (10 months ago)
Apparently, you have recently started trading on financial markets or you are just getting interested in it. But I don't want to offend you. I want to answer your question in order to help you. So, Multi-Asset Broker means that company provides access to a large number of financial markets. Such as currency market, stock market and others. Each of financial markets has financial instruments, also called assets. If broker has a large set of such markets and assets, it can be called Multi-Asset Broker. And it means that XS is such a broker

Asked by Ramon N. (11 months ago)
Answered by Stefano Balles (11 months ago)

Asked by Alberto Cruz (11 months ago)

What is the essence of implementing such a big variety of account types, as many traders choose only one or two of them as a rule?
Asked by Gael I. (11 months ago)
I appeal to this thing: if there a demand, then there's a supply. I remember those times when this system was way poorer and there were no many account types. Only three with almost similar parameters. Nowadays the company had revised its approach and decided to add some difference. There are accounts where not all assets are available, for example, Cent or Micro. Do you need something besides forex pairs? No? Go for them, then. And the same applies to other accounts. Such a variety only play into the hands of traders.

What assets would you advise to trade on this platform? Maybe some of them are more favorable for trading?
Asked by Sulaimaan (1 year ago)
Are you ready to take the risk? :) If you are ready, then of course choose more volatile assets, such as cryptocurrencies. If you are a more conservative trader and plan your profits for several months in advance, I recommend currency pairs. If you have a lot of trading experience and you know what fundamental analysis is, you can try trading indices or futures. I would like to say that this broker has a large selection of assets and you should choose the ones that suit your strategy and style.

Asked by Amadeo L. (1 year ago)

Is it worth having the XS Mastercard, and why?
Asked by Anssi Karppinen (1 year ago)
I do think it's worth having it. It's a whole new opportunity and branded payment solution, what drawbacks of it can be stressed actually? I am not an owner of it yet, but I'm thinking about it, cuz the way they convey its advantages is brilliant. Direct access to cards and proprietary mobile app - awesome, ain't it? I believe this game is worth the candle.
Answered by Alfredo (1 year ago)
Yes, definitely. Here is why: - it speeds up the transfer funds process, you can get your hands on your funds faster compared to other withdrawals methods - it cuts the transfer costs significantly compared to wire transfers; - it is integrated with your XS wallet and the transfer process is simple and smooth.
Answered by Pablo Fr (1 year ago)
Do you want your payments fast and easy or what? And also it’s cool to have a Mastercard card issued by the forex broker huh.
Answered by Alfredo (11 months ago)
Has anyone had experience with the XS Mastercard they provide? Is it worth it?
Asked by Agustin M. (1 year ago)
It is a pretty new feature and unique and innovative as well. While I have seen brokers offering their own wallet, which in fact only serves as a payment management platform, this is a completely different concept. With wallets, in the end, you will need to choose a way to transfer the funds to your bank account or a card to get access to them. With the XS Mastercard all you need is to transfer them from your trading account to the card, and you are ready to spend. :) This eliminates one step of the transfer process, as I understand. It should reduce the costs as well. However, I haven't experienced it yet, but from what I see this is something that clients of XS should take advantage of it.
Answered by Katheer (1 year ago)
Which of the accounts available to clients do you think is best?
Asked by Pepe (1 year ago)
I honestly cannot tell you that. however though, if you are a new trader or an intermediate trader, one of the "preferred" account types should suit you. If you're a more professional trader, then the professional accounts will be suitable. And if you want to be a partner of the broker, kind of affiliate, then one of the partner accounts is what you should go for.
Answered by Alan Melendez (1 year ago)
Has anyone tried their affiliate programs, maybe you can ready share some insights about them?
Asked by Julian Gaona (1 year ago)
Nah, man. Didn't try them at all... everything is because I am not kinda keen on affiliate marketing. However, I confirm that the fact XS broker offers something different from ordinary trading is commendable. I read the information about different programs on the website, but didn't go deep into the essence. I am sure there are affiliate marketing admirers, anyway. Search for some reviews on the thematic websites.

What account type you'd advise to choose for a trader who isn't an expert or a beginner, something in between?
Asked by Samuel Neves (1 year ago)
That's a good question because XS broker has recently redesigned their account types and now there are: - Preferred account types - Professional account types - Partners Special account types They are also subdivided, so I assume that the best account which suit 90% of average traders - Pro account. It has no commissions and pretty tight spreads, so even if you aren't an expert and not a newbie, this account should perfectly fir your objectives. Enter the website to examine it more carefully.
Answered by Iago Camarero (1 year ago)
Something in between? Hmm, then I'll recommend the same type of account I use myself. Standard. It may seem that this type of account is more suitable for beginners, but I disagree. In my opinion, it is better for beginners to open Cent account. And for those who already have experience in trading it is better to open Standard one. It has balanced trading conditions. This is what you need, believe me.

Why there is no information about the minimum deposit required by this broker in the account types detail? Where can I find it?
Asked by Jordi Benitez (1 year ago)
Yes, it would be more convenient if they added one more column with minimum deposit requirements for account types, but you should know that some brokers have different deposit requirements depending on the payment method you choose. XS is that kind of a broker. Their minimum deposit depends on the payment method and you should navigate to the Funding Methods tab to get this information. Anyway, let me share it with you. They have four payment methods available, and the minimum deposit requirement for each method is as follows: - wire transfers - $200 - visa/mastercard - $5 - skrill - $15 - neteller - $15. So, as a tip for the future, for information about minimum deposit requirements, you should check two places - the account types or the payment methods. In one of these places, there must be information about the requirements of the broker.

To open a real account with XS you need the standard document every broker is asking to provide. Such as proof of identity document, which can be a copy of your passport or ID card. The second thing you will need to provide is proof of your address. You can upload a utility bill if you have something on your name, or a bank statement in which your address is visible. Yeah, that’s all.

In fact, there's a big choice of accounts up to each trader, however, the biggest pest of them are almost similar and have no fundamentla differences. I would consider them divided into two groups: Classic, Standard and Plus and then Elite. These three accounts from the first group have only different spread sizes and that is it. But Elite is distinguished by a minimum deposit requirement, zero spreads and round-turn commissions.

Is Elite account worth choosing, actually? What are the benefits?
Asked by Ilmari (1 year ago)
Xs broler’s Elite account is worth choosing if you are desperately in need of tightest spreads. Since there you can have the spread from zero. But on the other hand you have to deposit much more money for this privilege and pay a trading commission per each deal. Uhmm... you need to do calculations because it’s hard for me to say exactly. Sometimes it’s worth getting a commission-based account as the profits are bigger this way.

Asked by Benjamin Ponce (1 year ago)
Pregunta interesante. Créeme, no te llevará mucho tiempo acostumbrarte.

What payment method would you suggest I use for my initial deposit?
Asked by Arnau Tejero (1 year ago)
It really does not matter. If you have an account at one of the payment options, or tried one before somewhere else and it was successful, you can go with that for convenience. If not, then there is actually no difference what so ever.

What leverage is available at XS for trading cryptocurrencies?
Asked by Marcos da Cruz (1 year ago)
The maximum leverage ratio available at XS for trading cryptocurrencies is 1:20. The range of cryptos is quite good, maybe not the most wideset out there, but it’s more than enough to diversify your trading and take advantage of this emerging market. You have the most popular coins, and in my opinion that what you need to trade. Dont dive too deep into the unknown ? When it comes to the leverage, I would say XS’ max ration is somehow above the standard ones. From what I have seen around, usually the leverage offered by other brokers for cryptos is around 1:10, and often times even less. 1:20 leverage ratio for cryptos is quite big. You don’t need anything more than this.

What would you advise me to trade at XS majors forex pairs or commodities (Gold)?
Asked by Alex Monroy (1 year ago)
In my opinion gold is one of the most risky assets because of its volatility. Especially when it comes to intraday trading. But if you are looking for an asset for long-term investment, gold is often used by traders for this purpose. That's why I recommend trading currency pairs. It can be safer and easier...
Answered by Luiz B (1 year ago)
Don’t bother. Those are two similar asset classes if we talk about forex trading. with the exception that Gold may be a bit more volatile than the majority of currency pairs. In this regard you have to be more careful. Other than that, just pick a liquid currency? and start trading, it’s not a big deal. Also if you lack fundings then choose forex pairs. Metals have lower leverage so you will need more money.
Answered by Eino Virtanen (1 year ago)
It seems to me choice depends on your level of trading. On the one hand gold is profitable financial instrument, but on the other hand it can be dangerous because of its high volatility. Therefore, trading EUR/USD and Gold with the same deposit size should have at least different lot sizes. But if you feel confident in your skills I recommend Gold. Since you can get more profit there. Besides, gold is pretty well analyzed by technical analysis. And fundamentals are pretty easy to follow.

What can a broker's mobile app be useful for?
Asked by Pedro Luz Dias (1 year ago)
To be honest I'm a big fan of mobile apps. I think that in time many services and technologies will move to smartphones. I feel the same way about this broker's mobile app. I'm sure that it can be a fullfledged replacement for desktop platform. Application has all necessary functions and at the same time it has some advantages. For example, I don't need to be in front of my computer monitor all the time. I can be anywhere and still have access to trading.

What's going on with leverage upon here? Is it adjustable or like "fixed" one?
Asked by Aldo Panicucci (1 year ago)
There are different types of leverages you can have. If you want they will be fixed and if you want adjustable then you simply adjust it in your personal area. Maybe you messed it up with spreads, but leverage is something that usually depends on your trading goals and risk appetites. In short you control leverage. Cheers!;-)

This broker's leverage have different values for a particular asset group. Moreover, amount of leverage may differ within asset group. For example some currency pairs have slightly lower leverage. This balances asset volatility. Is this exactly what you wanted to know? I guess my answer is what you need.

Are the commissions in xs calculated by lot?
Asked by Sergi P. (1 year ago)
XS offers generous leverage ratios across various asset classes. For instance, traders can access a ratio of 1:500 on currencies, significantly amplifying their potential gains. The leverage ratio on gold is 1:200, but what I love the best, I have not met any other broker offering 1:20 leverage on crypto. This flexibility in leveraging options gives an amazing edge in the market to traders by effectively seize opportunities for trades.

What is the extent of leverage provided by this broker and is it determined based on the selected assets or account type?
Asked by Magnus Eide (1 year ago)
Regardless of the account type, XS offers leverage of up to 1:500. Isn't it impressive?! However, it is important to note that leverage levels may vary depending on the specific asset being traded. For instance, the leverage ratios differ in the following ways: Currencies have a leverage ratio of 1:500, gold has a ratio of 1:200, energies 1:100, commodities 1:50, and cryptocurrencies have a ratio of 1:20. It is advisable to consult their website where they offer detailed information about the specific leverage available for each asset.
Answered by Lucho L (1 year ago)
Yes, they is determined based in the assets you want to trade. for example, if you want to trade currencies, you can go up to 500 time leverages with some exceptions on ssome currencyes. it is up to 50 time for stocks, and for cryptos is it around 20 times.
Answered by Jaime Aguayo (1 year ago)
XS has four different accounts, and all of them have a max leverage of 1:500. But not all instruments have a leverage that high. The leverage is limited to forex majors, minors, and exotics. Otter instruments have different maximum leverage limits, and so I advise you to head over to the website, on the menu, head over to trading, and then levarage and margin so that you get more information.
