“Xtrons head unit is the perfect upgrade to the Hyundai ix35, fully featured and everything works and fits perfectly. The only issue I had was there were no instructions for wiring and installation which would have saved a lot of time. The Xtrons customer service was great and I was kept informed throughout the processing and delivery phase.

The camera which is car specific looks simply at the floor.. Stupid design..
The head unit is worse.. Doesn't pick up GPS signal, WiFi does not work.. Apps crashing and freezing..
Asked for help from the UK based XTRONS and after a few days of hearing nothing I'm now going to contact credit card company to get my money back..

1. Have you connected the GPS Antenna to the head unit?
2. Similarly have you connected the WiFi Antenna too? If the WiFi can't be connected, is there any error message? It would be better if you could take some pictures.

“The unit itself is great and the delivery was fast. However I am distinctly unimpressed that neither of the two leads included worked correctly with my car speakers. I've had to pay £30 for another lead for my Audi A3 with the non-Bose soundsystem to get my back speakers to work correctly. There are some garbled instructions online indicating that this is a known issue. The quadlock to ISO lead included is not fit for purpose”

“I purchased a TSD700L from Xtrons in 2021 and installed it in my Land Rover Defender. The reverse camera and dash-cam work great, and the audio quality through my cheap speakers is good. BUT THE RADIO WILL NOT STAY TUNED. Using my wing-mounted aerial for FM reception, the unit will not stay on the frequency for a station more than a few minutes, before it seeks another frequency.
Just last week I got a Xtrons RANT01 windscreen mounted aerial hoping it would be more compatible but that does not seem to have improved things.
It seems that either the quality is not what I hoped for, or I have a defective product”

“The brand new 10.1 inch unit does not recognise 2 DAB dongles or 2 DAB apps so I emailed Xtrons. The response was to download the DABZ app that is already on the unit! I've sent another email and had no reply. No idea where to send it back or if I will get a refund but it's not fit for purpose.”
