AVOID like the plague. This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My fight is nowhere near over yet. The cold caller that calls you will tell you fairy tale, advise that there advertising will get you x amount of sales and they will look after you. They are not upfront and honest about fees. If you take ppc they will put what they like in your advert and not listen to a word you say. They do not get your approval before they make it live. They will have your ppc cost through the roof. Even on a small budget. They do not listen to what you want and don't want in your ad. I checked my bank to cancel the direct debit and I found they had 2 direct debits on my account. There should have only been one!! If you email they ignore you. They do not send an acknowledgement that they have received anything. The call centre is awful and will flat out lie to you.5 days of trying to talk to them and it just ended up with me loosing it and screaming at them like a fishwife. Still no resolution. They are in breach of contract and my next steps are legal action. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THESE ABSOLUTE JOKERS. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT POOR IT'S NON EXISTANT. YOUR WEB TRAFFIC WILL DROP. YOUR SALES WILL DROP. YOU CAN DO A BETTER JOB ON YOUR OWN. UPDATE After an email that took about 3hrs to write to the CEO of yell i was contacted quickly. My contract was cancelled and no amount due. I was offeted free services from Yell to try and make up for the lack of service. I have declined. I have requested the credit search on my account to be removed and this has been done. Still chasing them for a timescale of how long my complaint will take to resolve. Feel im being ignored again.  Anyone who is having issues with getting out of your yell contract look on facebook for the i hate yell group and we will help you if we can. The sooner yell understand that a b2b contract does not give them the right to do as they like. We as business owners have hired them to do a job if they dont do the job we can fire them. We can also take them to court for breach of contract which i will be doing if they dont resolve my complaint.

The WORST experience I have ever had with an advertising company. AVOID YELL! They will take your money and produce absolutely nothing to show for it. They will then apparently want to get in touch to "resolve the matter" only once you have given them the review they deserve, as I did on Trustpilot. Yell is a joke and they are certainly not an expert in digital advertising, which is what they claim!

THE WORST company I have ever experienced!! Everything from their rude, ignorant and aggressive staff to their shabby looking out of date platform! They are full of deceit and lies and I have no idea how a company like this could be allowed to continue! They're robbing small venerable businesses in broad daylight and have wrapped it all up in a binding contract because they know they're product is utterly useless!! Please do not go any where near this business!

After being cold-called for weeks by Yell and speaking to the salesperson for 2 hours on the phone making sure they could do everything i wanted for my website, i agreed to go ahead. After agreeing to go ahead, i was passed to the introduction team to set up etc. Later on, i noticed i wasn't getting as promised on the phone. The team had set my keywords up wrong, my Ads were costing me double what i was already paying and my website dropped. I cancelled straight away to then be told by the salesperson to be "realistic" and it wouldn't be done in a few days but a matter of months after telling me otherwise on the call. Since cancelling, i have had no confirmation of my cancellation and being ignored or spoken to appallingly by the customer service team and sales team. My experience has been awful and i would not recommend another business to go ahead with this contract. Furthermore, i think the Yell team are not experienced enough in basic customer service skills and they need more knowledge about what product they are selling

The service I received and for the money I paid for my website for my business was disgusting.. Promised to help find more customers and done nothing of The sort. I’ve paid over £500 for there services and have had no income back what so ever whenever as they clearly don’t no what they are doing. I even rang and spoke to them and number of times to find ways of changing things and doing things differently. Even adjust things and everyone I spoke to was rude, arrogant and couldn’t care less about helping me out so when cancelling my account with them I asked if there was any outstanding balances left to pay and I was told nothing. I’m now being threatened by them that if I don’t pay up they are sending debt collectors to get the money from me. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone and anyone who chooses to use them really making a big mistake and have a death wise as all they will do is take your money.

In 4 months of business with yell, we paid them £504, for just £191 worth of advertising, with an income of £95. Only 7 months left on the contract ( NOT) Yell does not work, their contracts will drain your bank for little or no return. Yell - please go back to what you were good at Paper door stops back in the 1980's This dinosaur should be dead & buried.

Yell.com is a complete and utter joke. They conned us into signing a contract for six months but failed to say this would turn into a rolling contract for which they have an iron-clad legal agreement that does not allow you to simply cancel the contract. Then when we finally got in touch, they said there was no one to complain to until one of the managers who was listening to the call then cut in an started saying that we did not know what we were doing, had no idea how to run an eCommerce site (despite turning over hundreds of thousands of pounds on it) and just proceeded to hurl abuse at us down the phone line. Then they finally agreed to cancel our account, but low and behold, six months later, we receive a letter from a debt collection agency demanding more money. I would happily tell anyone that asks about my experience and if you're looking to sign up with them for any service, you should avoid at all costs as you will be ripped off, they will do nothing to support you and then do everything in their power to avoid the fundamental issue at hand that they are just there to take your money. It's downright fraud, plain and simple. How dare they.

I used to be a happy Yell.com customer! Having paid for advertising on Yell.com for 2 1/2 years I have just discovered today that 6 months ago they re-zoned the areas that I advertise in and now i don't come up everytime on a search in my main area. This is obviously to sell more advertising space. They have told me there is nothing they can really do. I would have thought that I would have been given the opportunity to buy advertising in these new areas. I am now been offered lower positions than I had for the same money? I have more reviews than anyone in my category all 5 star rating but when I click on searching with these options I do not feature anywhere on the list, how can this be with paid for sponsored advertising? I also bought reputation manager product in July and still waiting for this product to work in full. I have been told three times by 3 separate people that I will take less than 60 seconds to sort and I'm still waiting even though I have been assured reputation manager is working well behind the scenes today I learn that it is not really working because it has not linked to my google my business page. Have paid 4 months now. This product is a complete waste of time. Don't buy it. Account managers Nadia and Haroon are obviously too busy to call me back or reply to emails despite several complaints. Was impressed at 1st with Yell but now I realise that they are not really interested in your business as they claim to be, just interested in getting as much money with minimum effort. Let's hope new CEO can sort I out. Maybe I should write to her?

If i could give 0 stars i would. Had problems right from the start with my website. Pushy sales team. Its only now when i have spoken with other firms and had another website built have i realised how rubbish my website was and extremely over priced. They have poor customer services who are never willing to help. Do not have a website from yell!

Avoid at all costs Avoid at all costs. The worst advertising company ever. Absolute disgrace. Refuse to hand back access to my PPC campaigns even though I have paid them in full for the shoddy work they have done. Currently a week without my ads running which is having a massive impact on my livelihood. Do not use Yell for PPC they are terrible and charge a fortune for complete incompetence.

I paid for no 1 listing on my area and reputation manager. After a year I only had five clicks. I was mis-sold a product that doesn’t work. They would not let me cancel the contract so I had to pay for the whole year. Total rip off.

Zero stars. Yell.com vandalised my advert by telling anyone seeing it that my business was "Permanently closed". After 2 months eventually, someone offered me more advertising for more money. I asked for my money back and I was told I was being deluded. I don't know what happened to this company. It has gone really downhill. Value your sanity and your money and don't bother.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! They get you into a contract that you cannot cancel. You'll be stuck for a year. They give you tall tales about getting traffic to your website. Zero results so far. No replies to mails. No one in touch. Just money going out of my account every month. I can't believe such businesses are not pulled down by the authorities.

After some good initial work, the service dropped dramatically to non-existent in the last 6 months. My main account manager was always changing and at least 2 of them admitted to me that their product wouldn't really help my particular business as well as pay per click advertising e.g. google ad words. Customer services would outright fail to call me back and refused to escalate any issues to any manager - terrible! Not only that, despite recognising their own poor service, they absolutely would not refund any of the last 2 months of this terrible service and threatened debt collectors etc. The only thing they care about is enforcing their contracts. As google and facebook have destroyed their old paper directory business, they are relegated to clinging on desperately and leeching off these superior internet models. I could not wait to end my dreaded contract and I advise all small businesses to avoid Yell and work directly on their presence on google, facebook, bing, yahoo etc. and/or use independent consultants and SEO to help achieve this.

Worst advertising company to go with & waste of money Worst advertising company to go with. Waste of money at £83.16 per month for nothing and a relationship manager that either isn't there or can't be organised to follow through with appointments. Avoid at all cost! You'll benefit much more from boosting your post on Facbook/Google/Instagram for a lot less money. They will sell you big promises but you will end up being disappointed. I am still in a contract for 6 months and can not wait to exit this waste of money contract.

Awful experience, no longer the Yellow pages of old Yell.com now only interested in getting you in to a water tight contract with hard sell and promises that never materialised, and then milking as much money from you as possible, for advertising and marketing that is worse than useless Then harassing you with debt collector's and solicitor's, with ever more ludicrous money demands

I did not read the reviews had I done I would not go near them I was lied to from the beginning. They said I would not pay until I was earning from the website. They told me 3500. Now I’m landed with a bill of 7000. Crap website. Difficult to navigate. Would not let me upload my photos so I could sell anything. They are tricksters. Say anything to get you to sign the contract. Stay well away. Shocking despicable absolutely disgraceful poor standard of work. The content of the website embarrassing. Should have gone with Google.
