“I received the quote from Confused.com, who acknowledged my 9 years No Claims Bonus (NCB). Once directed to the Yoga website they had me down for 8 years NCB, with no option of changing it. I took the policy and then contacted Yoga this morning who told me that they get the number of years NCB from DVLC. I pointed out that today I am 8 years NCB, however on the day that my policy starts with Yoga, I will have 9 years NCB. Jack told me to contact Yoga once the policy starts with 'proof of my NCB' and they will update it. Now this is all very diss-jointed, because if the Confused.com and the Yoga databases are linked in some way, which they must be for me to receive a quote then why do the years of NCB's differ and why am I required to prove my 9 years NCB when it is on the Confused.com website! Not impressed so far with Yoga.”
“After purchasing car insurance from Yoga. I received an email, to set up my insurance portal.
It said I would receive a link, and that I just had to verify who I am.
I have tried at least 20 + times to get the email link, and have not received it.
I have tried on two devices, to get the link.
I have bought a private registration for my car, and just want to update my insurance.
I feel really disappointed that something as simple as clicking a link, has been made impossible.”
“Very poor website, I have been trying to arrange for my house insurance not to be renewed. Everything seems to cover new quotes or renewal of existing policies. Would you please advise how I can successfully cancel my house insurance”
“Found your quote very reasonable, although when detailed on Confused the cover was stated at £150,000 when I actually went on to your web page the cover was reduced to £100,000 for the same premium. I found the setting up and response very quick and easy, and went ahead with cover”
“I really got the shock of my life when my old insurance quoted £391.66 up from £ 259 .21 last year which I thought was really high. I am 75 and have nothing of any importance in my home.”
“Yogo didnt make me happy. They supplied me with insurance. The policy was reasonable BUT you must read everything. Like breakdown insurance, you think it is included because that is what it says on the initial quote, but then you find out there is a £20 excess charge on every call out.”
“My current home insurance was going to increase by £350 and i hadn't made a claim!
i shopped around and Yoga were very competitive in pricing, whilst still meeting my needs. Indeed, the premium was cheaper than last years'
However, i would note, once you accept a quote, Yoga will then try to get you to increase your legal, emergency home and other cover to a higher limit.
So, what started as a very low quote, increased by approx £75.
i decided to take these add-ons as with them included, my premium was still cheaper than last years'
Something to watch for though.”
“Well not overwhelmed with joy. Drew me in with an initial low quote then came lots of add ons to upgrade to what I was getting with my previous insurer. However, still ended up £300 cheaper, but left slightly disappointed I didn’t save more.”
