“Well it may not be quite your fault, BUT I've paid for an insurance with you, which will be starting in a couple of weeks. At the same time as paying I wanted to stop AUTOMATIC renewal. This has proved IMPOSSIBLE. There is nothing to say that you cannot stop AUTOMATIC RENEWAL before the policy starts. You have my money and you are now able to use that, so I think there should be access to stop the AUTOMATIC RENEWAL if a paid client wishes that.
That's why only 2 stars.
My excess is also £1000, and some of the items you display that you cover, if claimed about will not amount to £1000. They're rather spuriously offered as an included insured item. But one or 2 insured inclusions are good.

“Terrible experience trying to correct dates which I'd incorrectly put into the app for insurance start-date. Would have thought this was straightforward but no, and tried cancelling the policy to then re-buy on the correct dates but was going to be charged the total for the Policy. There is supposed to be a 14-day cooling off period anyway. I would really like to cancel now (with no monetary impact) as I've no confidence that an insurance actual claim would be any better dealt with. Round in circles with an AI Chat Bot.”
“I found it very convoluted to find my renewal quote within the site - it took a lot of going around the houses and when I tried to make a couple of edits, they wouldn't save. I tried several times and gave up. I was so frustrated that I went to a comparison site and found exactly the same insurance for £45 less! When I tried to cancel my current renewal, I was offered the chance for a better quote but all I saw was the never ending circle of death and nothing further. Consequently, I cancelled my renewal and took out the same insurance for a big saving.”
