10% of delivery was dead. I was promised replacements. Yodel said they had them then said they couldn’t deliver and I should contact the seller. Seller just gave me a tracker number but yodel had no tracker. Complained to seller but no response.

I ordered from yougarden 12 sweetcorn plants x2 @ £7.99 each (24 plants in total). The plants arrived last evening - 23/05/2024 - within the delivery date quoted. This morning I opened the battered box to find two green plastic containers in which were 12 plants each. The top of the plants has to be "folded over" to fit the containers thus causing some of the stems to break and some leaves to be damaged. I tried to salvage as many of the plants & pot them up in readiness for acclimatising them to plant out in my allotment. Unfortunately some plants wre unsalvageable - at least 6. Others I have supported with sticks & ties to keep them upright hoping they will recover. I will not be surprised more die as a result of the damage. I have taken photos on my mobile but have no way of sending these as proof of my claims. Must say how disappointed I am as at some point the plants must have been very healthy. Yougarden ought to be aware of the compatibility between theheight of the plants and the packaging. Having to fold over plants to tall will certainly cause damage as I have experienced. The battered cardboard box is neither here nor there as the plants would/should have been protected within the plastic transport medium. Not sure how delivery made but I have stated by Courier. Unable to attach photos which are on my mobile and not on my laptop. Order made via ebay - order number 26-11573-8857 Item number 335387309101

I am very unhappy with the service provided by YouGarden. Order placed over 10 days ago, no email on follow up or if purchased items has been discharged. Rather all I am bombarded with are emails about their products and sales!!! I have tried emailing kept bouncing back and at some point says mailbox is full and try later. This is ridiculous and I can assure you that I will not be using them again. It is much quicker and easier to visit one’s local garden store. Terrible service should have read the review first.

If I could give less than one star, I would. DO NOT waste your money on this company. I ordered a rose in memory of my husband who passed 6 months ago. The rose arrived after several days in transit wrapped in a flimsy bit of clingfilm and no compost. It was completely dry. I've fed and watered it and bought special feed and compost. The roots are completely dead. Customer services are ignoring my emails. I too wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I had hoped to have scented roses for my husband, I'll have to go to my garden centre who care about me

Warning: avoid YouGarden! First delivery: waited about 5 weeks for two magnolias, pre-paid, total cost just under £60. When they arrived they had been nearly 2 weeks in transit. They were bare root plants shoved in lightweight compost, not grown in pots. Leaves: some brown and shriveled, rest yellow, droopy, chewed and half dead, roots completely dry. YouGarden hostile Customer Care Service representative said I myself had asked for Yodel to postpone delivery for 2 weeks. Completely untrue and ludicrous. Now they are ignoring my emails. Second delivery arrived today, ordered 6 weeks ago. 3 alliums, approx £27, arrived rotting and slimy, flower stalks cut down after flowering. 3 miserable Himalayan poppies about 1.5 centimeters high had completely dry roots with a centimetre of moss in plugs. I shall not touch this firm again.

Plants that die, customer service that does not care. You garden, just don't involve them in it. Use your local plant centre or try another mail order company that cares. I spend hundreds every year and they are the one I will never use again. Please avoid

They take the full cost of your order, then don’t deliver for weeks, sometimes don’t deliver at all and will refund but not very promptly. Meanwhile they have and presumably use your money.

Ordered items on the 3rd of April, stated 5-7 days delivery. However, it was on the 25th of April that the order was dispatched. Only some items arrived on the 27th, was told by customer services that I was lucky!!!! to receive them so quickly. Several items on the order were missing, having been chasing these ever since, emails get ignored, finally spoke to someone today who said they would resend the missing ones. However, the confirmation email only stated one of the plants and not the other missing one. Again told to wait another 7-10 days for these 'missing items'. So again will be "lucky" to receive them before the 23rd of May, thats an amazing 49 days since the order was placed.... Just keep getting a sorry about this.

I ordered begonias and hydrangeas. Received them over a month ago. I’ve nursed them along but to be honest I should have tossed them in the bin. Most of the begonias just died and the hydrangeas are mostly still twigs The geraniums are coming along but the rest are just disappointing

I ordered 40 plus plug trailing begonias my mothers favourite hanging basket plant in memory of my father (last year the plants were very good) when they arrived they were battered and not in good condition managed to save possibly 20 plants fingers crossed sent an email and a photo as requested have been offered a half refund as they don't have any plus plug plants and now ordered 20 garden ready plugs and hopefully they arrive in a better condition had to pay postage again so nearly cost double the initial amount and may have enough plants to do some hanging baskets could blame the couriers but no information on the package to handle with care or keep upright You garden is a company that this replacement will be the last order from us

This is actually a second review ...follow on from review couple days ago regarding purchase of potted Rose with no new shoots on just three cut of stems. Well I have today decided to plant the said rose out in the hope it would help the poor specimen of a thing to sprout some new growth. Not a chance, poor thing had barley any root & fell out of pot with loose soil everywhere. Obviously a bare root plant been shoved into a pot for my order & charged me extra for a dead potted Rose bush . I have thrown it into compost bin & learnt a lesson, I only wish I had read the very many bad one star reviews beforehand. This certainly seems to be a rip off company only after your money . I haven't bothered trying to get a replacement or refund as from what people have said you will have a rite fight on your hands & I just don't need the hassle. The standard Lilac I shall plant & just hope it grows into something decent. I would avoid this company like the plaque.

Extremely disappointed with quality & size of the rose in tiny little pot no leaves or even sign of any buds on what so ever, just three tiny little 3 inch cut back stems. For the same price I have just returned from garden center with a lovely strong plant in large pot with new growth a good 8 inches with plenty of new stem & leaf growth. The standard Lilac is nowhere near the size stated a flimsy thin stick, with flimsy few branches not worth what it cost. I certainly learnt a lesson &would not recommend buying from this company & I won't make the same mistake again . Lesson certainly learnt.
