Matt sorted out all the extras we needed to know before we booked the extra nights plus a couple of rounds of golf before we see the the Ryder Cup all being well should be a good 2016 for me and my mate. Kind Regards Paul Davis Devon England

I am a little dissapointed as I have had to chase you once when I asked you for a confirmation of a rate and secondly that I had not received confirmation of my booking until I phoned and spoke to Lee this morning. My earlier booking for December went without a hitch.

I have contacted the sales agent who made this booking for you and have confirmed this has now been sent. Booked a golf holiday 3 days ago and got a flight confirmation e-mail through after paying Steve up front for the flights but I have had no confirmation through yet about the rest of the package - hotel rooms ,golf courses and tee times, total cost, etc etc. Normally bet this straight away after booking. Tried phoning but couldn't get through and couldn't leave a message.

Very classic building for the hotel. The staff was very friendly. Food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast. Our family room was massive, it was located on the 3rd floor, it was a tough climb with no lifts. I'll go back just for the food! Course was great, it rained a little on both days we played, but didn't spoiled our fun. I was allowed to play off the back tees at over 7100 yds. Greens were quick and receptive due to the rain it had, however it was very well drained. I shot 72 and 76 gross , playing off 7. They are really good results, however playing in a buggy with my wife probably invalidates these good scores. I reckon if I was walking and the course was firmer, it would have been mega though. There are long walks between certain tees and greens, so be warned. I would definitely go back again.

DISGRACEFUL PRACTICES! Beware if you are a regular customer. A salesman has just bragged to me that he adds £20 per person to any quote he gives to regular clients because if they have bought before they will buy again! I had received a quote from an honest company who I have used before many times. Thought I would ask for a quote from YGT out of interest. I had been quite specific in my quote which resulted in a call asking if I had a quote from another source and how much. I declined to provide that info which did not go down well. The quote arrived by email but was considerably more expensive than the quote I already had. I replied, thanking the salesman for the quote but it was not as good as another quote but we would give then another chance to quote next year. The next morning the extremely aggressive and rude salesman phoned me telling me that there is no way the other company could be anywhere near the quote he gave? Apart from anything else he assumed as we were regular customers of the other company they would be taking advantage of us and adding on fees!!! I asked to speak to his supervisor but was told he was listening in to the call. Despite suggesting I was a liar and time waster (remember he called me) he then asked if I would sign up there and then for a considerably lower quote. NO WAY. I again asked to speak to his supervisor and he just hung up. Incensed I phoned them and spoke to a customer services officer who said she would get a manager to call me back. Still waiting 4 days later.
