4 years back we took the decision to move away from another well known golf travel company due to extremely poor customer service. At the time we considered trying to arrange the annual golf weekend ourselves. Due to the numbers involved we found it too costly and time consuming to arrange direct, therefore we decided to give YGT a go. We've been dealing with Richard ever since as he knows where we've been, what we like and can sniff out the best deals for us. We've just booked our first trip abroad and we cant wait. Thanks for your help Richard, it's much appreciated.

I can't remember but next year will be my 6 or 7th trip via YGT all booked through John McGuffie.He's been my only contact and would not wish to use any one else.Need I say any more.

Very impressed with the service provided by Your Golf Travel, especially by Richard. I have had no problem in the past, and don't envisage any problems next year. Looking forward to our weekend at Macdonald Hill Valley Golf & Spa Resort.

Overall my experience in booking this holiday was good. There were a couple of times when the quote details and prices were incorrect despite agreeing with agent and had to go back to get amended.

Had very specific requirements for our booking. It was for a party of 12 made up of 7 golfers, 5 non-golfers and 3 children. Originally flying from 3 different airports, which ended up being two. Also needed to be in Easter half term. Thomas Holmes was a star pulling it all together and applying all the relevant deals to give us a really competitive price. If only he could have swung the 4th buggy for free he would have exceeded our expectations! All in all a first class service, the resort looks fantastic, only downside will be 7 blokes with hang-overs trying to play golf!

Not knowing a lot about the venue, the booking service were friendly and very helpful. The booking is for my husband, a birthday surprise , although in my Husbands name all communication was sent directly to me, so his treat will be a real surprise. Thank you excellent service.

Initial booking experience {PatrickMcG) very good. Only apprehension relates to subsequent invoicing practice which is always in £Sterling despite booking agreement/contract and payment by €Euro bank transfer into your €Euro account . As I am in the €Euro area and the golf destination is also in the €Euro area ,this payment procedure avoids the additional transaction costs of me buying £Sterling to pay YGT in £Sterling followed by reconversion to €Euro by YGT to pay the €Euro area golf package supplier. Invoicing in the agreed €Euro contract price would eliminate unnecessary additional communications to reconcile the £Sterling invoice with the €Euro contract price for final payment purposes . Hoping you can accede to this request. MK

Rather than book entirely online, without human contact, I phoned Ian Purvis at your HQ, Because I have spoken with him on numerous occasions to book (and he always looked after me well) I gave him my details and asked him if he would deduct my £25 voucher from the final price. (I had to my knowledge downloaded a £25 pound voucher. On close inspection after the fact, I found that the voucher had not downloaded when I requested "get voucher" all I had was details of the Sao Raphael complex . If Ian Purvis had checked while I was on the phone with him, he could have informed me that I had not downloaded the voucher, and I could have went online and rectified the error. When I queried the price, when details were sent to me, I saw that the £25 had not been deducted. I phoned immediately and asked for Ian Purvis, but instead was put onto a female employee who told me that I had not downloaded a voucher, asking for the number. I went to the download site and this is when I found the Sao Raphael details and no voucher. I was told the price would stand,( in other words "tough") I have been using YGT for a number of years, Prior to this booking I would have given a VG rating. I will now have to consider other providers to book my golf trips, Ian McDonald

These vouchers must be claimed off your trip at the time of booking, and they cannot be used at a later date. This is stated in the terms and conditions. Played the Woods/Lakes combination. Both loops were in excellent condition and thoroughly enjoyable. The accommodation was absolutely superb, as was the dinner in the club house. Breakfast was in the hotel but was not as good as the evening meal - the pots of tea and cooked breakfast were not as hot as they could have been. That said, we would certainly return.

Just had 2 very enjoyable and well organised days golfing at Breadsall Priory, superbly organised by YourGolfTravel. The courses were in excellent condition. We played The Priory course on Sunday and as expected it was very busy and the round took just under 5 hours ! Having said that, we were playing as a 2 ball and expected a "long round". Monday on The Moorlands course was a lot quicker, taking a little under 4 hours. The accommodation, service, and food in the Hotel were all of 5* quality and we would have no worries about a return visit (organised of course by YGT). Many thanks to Lisa and Robert.
