althogh i booked and paid a deposit of 120 pounds thee days ago, i haven't received any sort of conformation about the booking or indeed the deposit paid. so i can't give an opinion as to the quality of your service.

My wife and I go to Dona Filipa every year in Jan/Feb. Last year was a big disappointment as we were not informed of the major reconstruction work going on. We knew some upgrading was taking place but not to the great degree that we found. Temp. entrance to the hotel up a flight of stairs, lunches at the Golf Club and reduced dining in the evening and daytime noise. We have booked for 2015 but again we have not had specific details of what reconstruction will be completed by then. We are going on the feeling of your representative that it should be OK.

Hi Raymond, The hotel is shut until the end of January. In February, they are re-opening with 63 rooms being open, and doing a soft refurbishment. I hope this helps but please do let us know if you have any further concerns. Kind regards, Claire

The information & quotes was to our requirements and arrived in a timely manner, any queries were delt with and resolved. The prices were competitive, hence why we've used YourTravel for the 2nd time.

Hannah was very swift at telling me what was available/not available in terms of the deals I was interested in. She was prompt at returning calls and honest when it came to pricings and how reasonable deals were.

Just got back from a one night break at Menzies Welcombe Golf & Hotel complex. The course was nice, good condition throughout, and some picturesque holes, it can be a challenge if you don't know your way around due to a few too many blind doglegs for my liking. The tee boxes are also a slight issue as many of them were uneven which was a disappointment given the condition of the course. But overall the course is good and a special mention goes to the starter who was an absolute gent! Clubhouse was good, prices as you would expect. The hotel and spa were excellent throughout, service, condition and quality all of a high standard. Nice to see they're were no restrictions on the evening meal, supplements were included for a few dishes but that's as to be expected. All in all a good course and a very good hotel/spa. YourGolfTravel were a delight to deal with throughout.

The booking procedure has been very good on the two occasions we have used yourgolftravel. Unfortunately we had some serious issues during our last holiday which were handled extremely poorly by this company. We can only hope this is not repeated on our next break.

Booking process okay but I would prefer less phone contact and more precise email information, both before and after booking. The response has been difficult because you have a gremlin in your IT email when using the reply tab. I have informed the agent several times, when will it be corrected? I am waiting for more detailed information for a fairly large party of golfers and hope to review further at that time.

Website would benefit from a more refined search option to allow search by criteria and distance from self, similar to competitors site. When booking confirmation came through stated a lesser package and was incorrect but following a phone call this was resolved promptly. Website advertises free golf balls when booked but no further information regards this has become apparent following the booking

Having booked with yourgolftravel befor this time was no different, Barry the agent that dealt with our break was efficient, polite and on the ball, yourgolftravel always seems to be best on price. The thing that I find the most satisfying is yourgolftravel make your holiday that bit special.

All in all, a good service. My original enquiries resulted in Tom Francis responding nice and promptly. When I emailed back a modification to my request I received an "out of office" reply, asking me to deal with Glen Maher. It went a bit skewed at this point however, as several voice messages and emails which I left, were not returned. I began at that point to make enquiries with a rival company to Yourgolftravel. However, Lewis Remington then stepped in and the rest went smoothly, through to me confirming a booking for a party for four golfers. My only concern is I've not yet teceived any written confirmation back yet from Yourgolftravel (inc tee times etc), and it's now a couple of days since I made full payment. Gerry English

Is a quick an easy method to get your golfing break sorted without having the hassle of booking things separately. I was very impressed with the service and am looking forward to the golf break.
