quick response with most of the information confirmed 1st time, which is always good would have preferred to get the tee times with the courses I wanted on the particular days. had to remind booker to take £25 voucher cost off initial booking cost, otherwise all fab liz

4 night break end March, early April stayed at Dom Pedro Marina played Pinhal, Laguna and Old Course hotel good, clean rooms, breakfast choice good, friendly staff courses in great condition, transfers - airport to hotel and to courses were faultless will be going again next year

We had a great overnight stay at the Windlestrae Hotel. The room was very clean and nice, the staff were helpful and we had a good meal. The only fault we found was that the bar area was in need of refurbishment. The golf courses were lovely and in good condition. All in all it was a great value deal and very enjoyable.

Stayed in one of the first floor rooms, which are compact, but everything you need. Reasonable shower, but no bath. Tea and coffee making and if standing at the window, you can see the 8th tee. The food was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. A high handicapper, I found the course a challenge with some interesting holes offering the classic risk/reward choice. The greens and fairways were in good condition. Pace of play was reasonable, being about 4 hours. Mix of players from a large society, members and couples. There are some slopes, but reasonable walking course.

We've stayed at Dom Joao for 5 years now as part of our golf tour. It is a perfect base for us. The hotel facilities are great - beautiful gardens leading to a stunning beach. The clientele is mostly over 60 when we go but that's OK. There's some lovely bars and restaurants up the road in Alvor.

Booking with YGT was a little extended this time. I think it was probably due to the Bank Holiday weekend. But everything turned out ok.

Very good hotel with excellent staff who were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also ideal. fresh fruit, bread and the option of hot food was just the ticket after a late night on the marina. Our taxis to and from the golf courses were booked by the staff without any hassle and always arrived on time. The bedrooms were basic but clean and the view from room 312 (suite) was fantastic where you could see part of the marina. Perfect for golfers looking for a good standard without paying over the odds. The casino was 100 yards away, with many bars and restaurants within a reasonably struck 8 iron distance from the hotel lobby. Good if you like that sort of thing I suppose. Overall, very happy to recommed this hotel for golfers and have already booked again to return next year.
