“Typically good gloves and haven’t had many issues with the products besides the last couple pair of protectors have wore thin and gotten holes in them quicker but I didn’t receive my last order and was at a fed ex hub approximately an hour away and could not get it cleared up or sent to my local fed ex for delivery and after a week past the delivery date made the decision to request a refund and for the fed ex that had them to return the product.”

“Heavy duty and probably warm however I had to return the gloves because they were too stiff, limited my grasp greatly and were not very comfortable.”

“The expertex are ok, very stiff at first. The cuff falls down leaving the whole glove exposed to damage. Not worth the money unless you're in the north like myself and want them to keep your hands warm. They break in decent I will say. They also fit the glove nice like the regular covers. I feel YT could have put more care/thought into the cuff part, seems slapped together”

“When i received the gloves, they seemed fine and fit well, except for the thumb area. The thumb area is way longer than my actual thumb(i dont have this issue with literally any other glove). The gloves made it a whole 2 days until they failed on me when the seams unraveled. Suffice it to say, im not particularly happy with my purchase. Overall not a great fit and not very durable.”

“I hate to give a 2 star review but I got the Cut Resistent Gen Utility and the stitches began to rip after the first day. I work with aluminum, and its completely understandable that perhaps these particular gloves aren't tough enough, but for how quickly they're beginning to fall apart, I have a hard time accepting that the damage is entirely on what they were subject to. For the price and name, I feel it's reasonable to expect more.”

“The shopping experience was ok. The quality of the gloves have something to be desired. About a month old and a seem is splitting. Expected more for quality from Youngstown.”

“These gloves are probably the best fitting and comfiest gloves I’ve ever tried, but they only lasted a week and a half. They costs way too much money to only last a week and a half. I’m a groundman for an electrical company and the middle finger is already torn almost all the way off. I’m not climbing or doing anything crazy with these gloves. Just groundman stuff, stapling, setting up poles, operating. Pretty disappointed to say the least.”

“The gloves were a bit wide for my hands as I have pretty narrow and long hands. The biggest problem, however, is that the liner inside got wet after I sweat and then my hands were cold and wet. It took a long time for them to dry.”

“They did not keep my hands warm while working on a hvac roof top unit and it was 25° out. kind of disappointing because the cold rating for these is much lower than 25° and I even tried a cotton base layer with them”

“I really wanted to like the hybrid xt gloves I ordered, they were comfortable but I wore them working on a roof for 2 days and the sticking is split between the thumb and fingers already. Thought these gloves would be better quality”

“False advertisement of the logos -- The gloves we received do not display the "FR" not the "WATERPROOF" logos. The material is great, but without the logos, it makes us feel like they sent us the wrong item. There's only one way of finding out, and that is putting them to work.”

Hi Karla, I saw your recent review of the Youngstown Gloves and how the logos were missing. I can promise you the gloves are 100% legit. It’s a little embarrassing but the truth is that in the tanning process a certain chemical has to be added to the mix when making a water resistant leather. The water resistance repels things other than water. So, there is another chemical that allows for print to stick. Well, in this batch of leather that additive was not included. So we could not print the logos on the glove. Since winter gloves are seasonal we had to make a choice and we decided to proceed without the logos. We were able to do it on the suede of the knuckle because the suede is not water resistant treated. I trust that you will be happy with the performance of the glove because it is Flame Resistant and Waterproof. We just don’t have the markings on the outside of the glove.
