Zego over complicates simple processes like one-time payments. Why it is necessary to "create an account" to make a one-time payment? I suspect, Zego just wants to capture customer information so they can SELL it. Also, their overseas call center customer "service" is unhelpful and basically a waste of time.

Advertised on the home page as everything managed in app. However zego was sending emails asking for my no claims which weren't seen due to me believing everything with zego was managed in app. I was then charged a premium of £150 for late submission of my ncd. When I sent in my ncd. They weren't acknowledged and my email wasn't read, nor were any of my follow up emails probably due to the incompetence of their ai assistant. What a joke. I then contacted zego in app via their chat system where actual agents where eventually available although they proved to be just as incompetent. No money was reimbursed. And I have to swallow the £150 overpayment. Zego is advertised as insurance that's user friendly and app based and saves you money.. however it's been a nightmare to get hold of anyone and I've been overcharged.. the rest is all just gimmicks to make you believe your saving money.. what a con

I had been using Zego for food deliveries. I had 2 non fault claims and they stopped insuring me..

Never can help with help tickets. Always just close the ticket with out even getting more info.

I didn’t realise I would be tracked 24/7 no mention of it when I took out the policy beware don’t use them.

Absolutely terrible insurance company took my money online then weeks later tell me I need app Then, after the app working for a few days, I’m told if my driving doesn’t get better if my insurance will be cancelled When I phoned up and asked, does the app. No when I’m the passenger in the car on a train on a boat or any other vehicle I was told yes it did made a formal complaint only to be told there’s nothing I can do about it took loads of money off of me for one month, glad I cancelled and got away from them Avoid this company at all costs

I have fully comprehensive insurance with zigo and my car is submarge in water accidently I contact with zigo They did not pull my car out of the water and started lying to me and they didn't cover me I am highly not recommending zigo Avoid financial loss by staying away from this insurance company, it is just a scam company.👎👎👎

Emailed me 25 days later to say they were canceling my policy if I didn’t install their app. App wont work on my phone so i contacted them to cancel a was told id only be refunded 82% minus a £50 fee. Works out they will have charged me 2 and a half months for less than a month. Nothing when i purchased the policy made it clear i needed to have the app. Or that it was a black box type policy that would need a phone on all the time to track my usage. Also worth pointing out, i tried to call them but their lines are not open at the weekend. Managed to sign in with laptop to chat to them but the opperator Callum M could not do a full refund, could not transfer me to a manager who could. I asked him if calling in on Monday would be better but he just kept pasting the same text over and over again. Could not get a straight answer.

Terrible business; makes really simple errors all the time accounting for wrong charges and they are VERY SLOW to correct all their mistakes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Zego it the worst when it comes to put a claim. I just experience a non fault accident and had to call several times to chase up for repair and customer service, which resulted In a waste of my time. I completely regret joining this insurer , I had zero support received from them . I would not recommend this taxi insurance after my experience.

My husband had insurance with zego. He gave deposit but now he is selling his bike and wants to cancel insurance but zego is saying pay us 191 cancellation fee. It's disgusting.

Threatened that I wouldn't be able to get insurance from other companies in the future if I canceled my policy. I don't want to be tracked by zego 24/7 (Something they don't tell you when handing over your money)

Zego is total fraud company.I had accident fault claim and my no claim bonus was not protected they removed all total 9 years private hire taxi NCB crazy company I never will recommend any buy Zego insurance policy

This company is faud. Don’t fooled by them. Terrible customer service! I was off work because of my back pain and they put my monthly premium up saying my sense app wasn’t given permission to location access which is a total lie. Dont buy policy from them. Go for some decent company. Not for fraud. I will report them to trade standard agency.

I blame Uber for creating the monster monopoly that engage is deliberate scam to extort money from private hire drivers, what happen to market economy, where are the regulators? I had been with them for over 2 years and got one year NCB however I realised my premium went up by 60% for no reason, after pointing out their scam they refused to insure me I did ask for explanation, their reply by mocking and I have reported to FCA and also wrote to their office of fair trading, please drivers join me and let’s unmask Uber’s monopoly

Absolutely joke of a company. Ordered insurance online, then realised I'd done it wrong, so rang up to set up another policy. The lady on the phone said the old one needed to be cancelled before setting up the new one (great... Or so I thought) A month later, I have 2 direct debits taken out of my account. One for the old one (that I was assured was cancelled, and the new one) I called Zego 5 times to sort out, and was on the phone for over 2 hours trying to speak to somebody to help me. When I eventually spoke to someone, they told me i need to ring Premium Credit Ltd as it was down to them. After another long conversation with PCL, I was told it was cancelled, and I needed to speak with Zego, as they hadn't cancelled it their end. So I spent another lifetime on hold, to confirm this with Zego, only to be told somebody will ring me. That was 2 weeks ago, I'm still waiting for the call 2 weeks later, I have more money come out of my account, so I ring Zego to find out what's going on. Spend another hour on hold, only to be told my policy has been cancelled, due to me not signing a credit agreement with Premium Credit Ltd. Again, I was told somebody would call me back asap, as I was at work, and now had no insurance. After ANOTHER call to Premium Credit Ltd, they tell me I have in fact signed the credit agreement, and they're unsure why my insurance was cancelled. ANOTHER hour long phone call with Zego to try and sort it out, only to be told I will get a call back as soon as possible Guess what? Still no call back, still not sorted, and I have spent over £300 to be insured for 2 months and now have to have a day off work to try and sort out, as I'm uninsured. Not very good for a company who offer work vehicle insurance, is it? Not sure what's going on at this place, but it's definitely a bit shady. I'll be emailing the insurance ombudsman today, and hopefully get to the bottom of all this dodgy behaviour. -10/10.

Avoid avoid void This. Company will cause you prob further down the line. May refuse to insure no reasons given Try to reduce your ncb then you have to get a letter from Zego to send back to Zego to unravel as department don’t speak to each other Advisors no understanding of how insurance products work I have had taxi insurance for 15 years no accident ever and out of all companies this is by far away the worst Also don’t bother complaining go straight to fsca then ombudsman as they don’t even acknowledge complaints

Bad customer service butting price up every month no respond when you call, it treat drivers any way they like refusing to insure drivers all the time,

Worst insurance ever... took out a quote payed the deposit they never taken it then no insurance was on data ... I found another company told these I was intreasted and they try to charge me for something that was less than 24 hours.. also you can't even speak to no o e DONT TRUST THESE
