Not impressed with the high level of rejections on perfectly good books

Initially difficulty with pick ups , before Christmas, these were delayed until after Christmas. Since I have sent 7 trades and been paid for 2- 2 more about to be paid. I have no info on other trades and fear 2 have been lost due to Christmas backlog. Time from you receiving to payout is about 2 weeks- far too long I think.

I think your inspection department were over critical when inspecting goods. Rejected goods I thought were perfectly acceptable.

I haven't received any money for the trade as it is still showing being processed. The parcel was despatched via InPost locker which was easy to use BUT I haven't received confirmation from them that I had posted it. I got in touch with customer services on the Sunday/Monday after a bit of a false start they eventually told me on the Monday that the parcel was at your warehouse since then nothing has happened. It used to be easy trade, pack, take to shop, get a receipt, get paid. If this is the future then I prefer the past.

Scanned hundreds of CDs the vast majority of which (90%) Ziffit did not want. Fair enough if they already have enough of those titles but it also means that this app is not very useful for me.

There was nothing wrong at all with your part but the parcel is still sitting in my living room. When the collection was over an hour overdue I looked at their website and it said they couldn't find the address. They had my phone number but didn't bother to call and ask. Other people can find it. What am I to do now? The parcel is too heavy for me to carry to a shop. And I wasted a day sitting around waiting for them. I have better things to do.

App and use of is fine, but you don’t collect the orders as promised. I work with a charity shop too so know this is a regular occurrence. I’ll try another buyer and suggest that you review your courier.

I have tried to have a box of books collected on two occasions and DPD have let me down on both. I asked Ziffit to arrange a third collection for tomorrow afternoon but have not heard anything from their customer support team.

Poor payment - delay in actually receiving funds. Had to chase despite the email confirming payment had been made. After second unnecessary email, payment was made. Is this the standard of trading with a British(?) company? What happened to good customer service? Not impressed and disappointed that everything in the UK is slow and requires chasing. Our services are just rubbish and require massive improvements.

I have used Ziffit before without any significant problems. This latest time, however, was very frustrating. I spent many hours sorting through an elderly relative's book collection and by the end of the day had had 45+ items accepted with a value of about £10.50. As soon as I clicked to complete the trade, a message appeared that some items were no longer acceptable (even from as little as 15 minutes prior), and the value was reduced to under £9. I then had to trawl through the list again to identify which ones had suddenly been rejected. In case it had been a glitch, I re-entered the rejected ones, and some were accepted again, but when I tried to complete the trade once more, even more items were inexplicably removed, so the final trade was reduced to 26 items valuing £8.07. When I then chose a date for collection I opted for 2nd Jan because it was being offered even though it was a bank holiday. I then received a message saying it was scheduled for 3rd Jan, a day I would not be at home. I have rescheduled collection for today and hope that the rest of the process and receipt of payment with be more straightforward!

The online part setting up the trade was fine and the lockbox drop-off was OK. But I haven't received confirmation that my boxes were picked up and I haven't received any money for the 2 trades. So your review request is premature or your system is poor. Would appreciate some reassurance that the trades will in fact be completed, as this was my first time using Ziffit and so far this is not good.

Low prices how can you offer 0.08p for a book. Why do you have to go to the end to see last item listed ?

My Ziffit trade have not been collected as scheduled by your courier, which is disappointing. The scanning of the books went well.

Takes a long time to get payment. Alot of my books were rejected due to condition but they were fine. You get pennies. Hard to communicate with you and you barely take any books. Its a shame because I have thousands of books I need to get rid of.

My box of books sent to Ziffit has been stuck in a Yodel warehouse for six days. No communication from anyone.

New-style cheques are eliminating the zero on the end of the digit field eg £4.50 becomes £4.5* Please sort this thanks

I was very disappointed that some of the books I sent to Ziffit were not accepted. I thought the condition was good so was surprised to hear this. So many of the books have such a small value that it hardly seems worth the effort of organising this. I think I will give them to charity next time.
