These are quite stretchy and comfortable. They do give some light compression if you're looking for that. I was surprised a bit by the color. I expected them to be more red. they're more of a salmon orange dolor in real life. On the other hand, they will make you stand out in a crowd....or feel like a superhero. I do appreciate the wide waistband and a drawstring, along with a zippered back pocket and thigh pocket. A word of warning: I'm not sure if it's the color, the shine or the front panel construction, but these stop just short of revealing which religion you belong to, that's why I would pair them with a longer shirt or even shorts. Then again, some of you braver souls may be fine with that. As far as underwear recommendations, these also show every wrinkle and seam, so choose wisely. I would recommend thong underwear or a jockstrap for a smoother look. Bikini briefs you can get away with if they're the thin spandex ones. I originally tried wearing these with my usual boxer briefs and it looked pretty terrible.
