We followed the sizing for the product and even went the next size up as we were at the top end of small, so the medium bag was only just a good fit for the frenchie.
That being said, Grogu (our frenchie) loves the bag, he appreciates being able to sit on my shoulders and despite the original grumbles from getting in the carrier, he loved it once in.
