I loved doing this painting. As always the materials provided were excellent. This particular painting was not as challenging as the last one (Peace River Cabin) as it was not as detailed. However, it was much more relaxing. The canvas provided was of excellent quality and the paints (with a couple of exceptions) were plentiful and also of excellent quality. The exceptions were the "browns" (numbers 8 & 15). The came off the brush in a mottled manner and even going over larger areas two or three times left me unsatisfied with the result. I gave this as a gift to a friend who is getting ready to retire from working on railroads/trains for many years.
