I finally found a type of wellies that fit my 40cm-wide calves and are made of leather. They are true to size, too so I bought my normal one and there is still some room left for thick socks. I am really happy about it 🙂 I have not tested them in the rain yet, but I do believe these boots are like “you get what you pay for”. They look very well-made, durable and the soles are as thick as they look in the seller’s pics. I trust they will do their job nicely and still look good on my feet.
