The Pimoroni Explorer Kit is a treat for coders. The parts provided in the kit add great value to the large and colourful display, beautifully produced circuitboard, buttons, breadboard and simple connection points. I found the supplied legs to be very useful, setting the board up to make the screen easier to see. The build quality is first class. The built-in RP2350 offers greater speed and extra memory over the earlier RP2040 version. The picographics software supplied by Pimoroni allows the user access to an enhanced range of graphical primitives such as triangles to take full advantage of the larger screen. A longer Qw/ST cable to connect the sensor stick would have been better so that the sensor stick could be BluTacked just above the top of the screen to make better use of the IMU for tilt applications.
