After 2 weeks and a new unit being sent out, I finally have a working system. I pretty much had to troubleshoot the problem on my own. I found that the BacTrack Vio App will not work with iOS 7.0.3 - you must be upgraded to at least 7.1.2. I will test it out on iOS 8.1.1 ASAP. Time will tell how long the unit lasts before it requires a calibration. Then it needs to be sent into BacTrack.
If you get (see photo) instead of an actual BAC reading you must update your iOS.
