We recently bought Bright Poppies, 1965 by Ivon Hitchins. It has completely transformed our space. The painting is a symphony of color, with the poppies bursting forth in a riot of oranges and reds, set against a backdrop of soft greens and blues. Hitchens' signature use of elongated strokes and blended hues creates a sense of movement and light that is simply captivating. It's as if the flowers are dancing in a gentle breeze. The painting has a timeless quality, feeling both contemporary and rooted in the mid-20th century. We are absolutely delighted with our purchase!
