This is the most affordable and functional means of adding ballast to your tractor. I use 60# tube sand: 5 fit in the box and one or two on top. That way, you can adjust the ballast easily. The sand + box weight fits all my needs. The box is well made, the tool tubes are great to have, and it can be raised high enough not to be a problem dragging - as long as you are aware of where it's at. Definitely recommend this ballast box.
