...if you understand what it is up front.
First off, to be sure, this lift is exactly as described and does exactly what Titan claims it will do. It picks up you motorcycle so you can work on it. That said, let me describe my experience...
I have an 850lb bagger with a 64in wheelbase. With the lift folded all the way down, the table top surface is still at least 4" off the ground. I am unable to push my heavy bike up onto it so I have to ride it up. The problem in this scenario is that the wheel chock that comes with it does not lock your tire/wheel in and is not sufficient to hold the bike and prevent it from falling over once you drive into it. This problem grows exponentially once you realize that because the lift table is so narrow, and the bike is so wide, there is no where to put your feet down on the table...and now you can't reach the floor...images conjured in my head of my $25k motorcycle crashing all the way over on its side (engine guard no help now with it elevated 4" off the ground).
There are two easy fixes for this. You can buy or make extension panels that mount to each side of the lift making it wider and giving you someplace to put your feet down to hold up the bike. You can also buy a wheel chock upgrade from Harbor Freight for $80 that will lock your wheel in and hold your bike up much better. If you're using this table as I am for a touring bike or bagger, these fixes are almost a requirement. If you're buying this lift for smaller, lighter cruisers or dirt bikes, you may get away without the extensions but I would still recommend the upgraded wheel chock.
The table does what I need it to do (with modifications) and I would recommend it to anyone that owns a motorcycle and does their own maintenance on it.
One thing to note...my table cost $600 plus a handling fee of $75 but free shipping.
I noticed right after I purchased mine the price went up to $879 with the $75 handling fee for a total of $981. At this new price, I may have considered stepping up a bit more for one of the pneumatic options available.
YMMV...
