Although I don't have dementia, I'm in my 70s and for the first time in 30 years I'm cat-less, and without the possibility of a real cat. This cat fills the void. I know it's not real, but I'm getting increasingly attached to it. It's interracting with me, and the more I get to know it, the more it purrs!
It's got moving parts, which are obviously going to make a sound, but that's OK. It's a robot cat, so that's part of it's make-up. It doesn't detract. It's now part of the family! SO glad I got it.
