Hi there
I'm probably not your usual consumer, but I am so delighted with your ball and socket joints that I want to write you a review, and include my appreciatriopn for your wonderful service.
OK, here's the story. I'm a member opf Brading Mens' Shed, on the Isle of Wight. A few months ago I took it into my head to build a man. The idea was that he should be roughly based on me sizewise (easy to measure), and built entirely from bits of scrap wood. Please don't ask why, there;s no rhyme or reason. So I started from the top down, and realised that I would need joints, because he has tro be jointed appropriately and posable. Slo I started to hunt for suitable jointrs - shoulder, neck, hips, which need to be multidirectional, and straight up and down, like elbows and knees.
I searched for weeks on thre internet, and found some ideal ball;-and-socket joints on photography sites, but I didn't want to pay their pricres. And then, by happy accident, I hasppened on your wonderful webpage, and found that you would sell me lots for a fantastically cheap price. Not onjly did they arrive almost immediately, but they worl brilliantly. My man can hold out a cup of coffee without spilling it. The fingers are something else...
So far I have a head and torse, and one arm and hand. The other arm and hand are goiing well, and then I have to do the bottom half.
Intgerstingly, my Shedder mates thought I was insane to dembark on such a thing bnut node they talk to him and shake his hand, and watch me as I put bits together.
I have a notion that he'll let us know what his name is qwhen he's finished, and he should be able to be dressed and borrowed by other groups for events.
This is a weird and wonderful thing to get invloved with, and it's making all of us very happy.
Thanks for giving me such good service. I'm sendind a coule of photos in which you can see the joints working perfectly.
