As for the Commonlabs Vitamin C Brightening Gel Cream, it’s become one of my go-to moisturizers, especially in the morning. It has this lightweight, non-greasy texture that my combination skin just loves. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave me looking shiny, which makes it perfect under makeup or even just on its own for a fresh, dewy look.
What I love most is how it brightens my skin over time. The Vitamin C works gradually to fade dark spots and post-acne marks, and I’ve definitely noticed a more even skin tone since I started using it. It’s also decently hydrating, with niacinamide and hyaluronic acid keeping my skin moisturized without feeling heavy.
However, if you have really dry skin, this might not be enough on its own. While it hydrates well for me, I could see someone with very dry skin needing something richer on top. Another thing to watch out for is the packaging. It comes in a jar, which is a bit annoying since Vitamin C can degrade when exposed to air and light. A pump would have been a better choice to keep the ingredients fresh for longer.
Overall, I really enjoy using this cream, but if you have sensitive skin, you might feel a little tingling at first. For me, it’s been a solid addition to my routine.
