Good first impressions - I’m new to leather NATO straps so bear that in mind. I chose this to add another option to my Speedmaster.. I like options for straps and bracelets, and NATOs remove the risk of scratches when swapping them over. First impressions are great. Quick delivery, even with choosing the cheapest option for that. Nicely packaged (bonus for being recyclable) and a complimentary cloth too. I really like the look of the strap and the end folds under the keeper easily but securely. The leather seems strong and soft. Not as soft as shell cordovan but pliable enough for an easy fold over. I’m hoping the leather will gain more character as it ages. The branding etched into the buckle is a little annoying but is hardly noticeable. The brushed hardware blends well with the brushed areas on the Speedy and the edges of the keepers are nicely rounded off. Obviously, the watch is going to sit higher on your wrist because of the two layers of leather under the case. It’s early days but I’d definitely buy again.
