I found the standard springs particularly in the "comfort mode" seemed to "oscillate" slightly over un-even surfaces and in general, I felt the OEM springs never matched the standard suspension unless on the firmer settings. The new VWR springs have cured this completely. The springs and dampers now seem far better matched most notably on the comfort setting which I use due to the state of UK roads. The car sits noticeably lower at the rear and the gaps between the bottom of the arches and the tops of the tyre have now gone (just) The overall stance is much more purposeful. The ride is slightly firmer but not uncomfortably so, but this trade-off gives much more noticeable turn-in feel on cornering and a feeling of greater handling precision. Early days still but very pleased so far with the results
