Been after a pair of Red Wings for a long time. As with other reviews of Red Wings, it's advisable to go down at least a half size; they are made on the roomy size. I'm a UK 8 normally and the 7.5 were spot on. The width of boot is also fine even with a thick pair of socks. They'll need a little wearing in but that's always the case with quality footwear. One minor gripe is I'm not a fan of leather shoelaces and wish they would include a quality pair of replacement laces.
