I installed the Clear Blue system one year ago in my Caribbean pool. Installation was simple and straight-forward and there have been no problems with that end of it. Unfortunately, the led window is starting to fail; a couple of the light "bars" have faded out, so resetting the levels of the ionizer is now nearly impossible. I will alert the company and see how good their warranty is. The system took a lot of trial and error to get the pool to the point where it is now; we are definitely using less chlorine than we did prior to the installation of the ionizer, and the water does not feel or smell chlorinated. Friends of ours actually went out of their way to communicate that info to me. Electrode use looks like it will work out to about 2 units per year for our good-sized, real swimming pool.
All in all, I am satisfied with the ClearBlue system, despite the above-mentioned challenges and limitations.
