If I'm honest, I was rather disappointed with the amount of meat in the steak - and the large amount of fat given. A 300g steak should be at least half an inch to three quarters of an inch thick, and this steak was about one cm thick. If I was given a smaller, thicker steak with some of the fat around the meat cut off, then it would be much better value for money. This meat is not cheap, so I expect to get what I am paying for. Either way, the ribeye was delicious, with incredible marbling - just a shame we couldn't eat much meat.
