Style: they remind me of a military style boot which is why I bought them. They would also be nice in Khaki/sand/ or green. Sole: you can feel through the boot due to the design, but once wearing, it's not really noticable. it is the thickness of the sole that stopped my feet and legs feeling tired. If I replace the inner sole they will be super comfortable. Laces: they tie up really easily, and there is enough lace to go around the boot and tie up. Inner sole: it appears there is a standard inner sole which is ok. Toe area: wide and enough space for toes to spread out and not feel cramped.
