I did a lot of research to find a sleeper couch that pulls out horizontally instead of vertically (since that's all that will fit in my super tight living room). Between this "Shift" and Burrow's other "Span Sleeper Sofa", I would've preferred the extra plushness of the other one, but it was too big for my space and this little guy still gets the job done. I couldn't find anything else that compared even slightly to the look/ease/functionality of this couch, and it's living up to its specs. Bed is super comfy. The whole design is sleek and beautiful. Couch is quite firm/stiff and the back is low, but I'm sure it will get broken in nicely over the years and I'll aquire some comfy long pillows to stack higher. It also arrived shockingly quickly, took less than a week?! The quanitity of packaging materials used to ship it the way they do makes me a little sad, but I know that's the cost of getting its pieces to come in such a portable, organized way. I was able to get it all unpacked and prepped to assemble by myself, but did need a friend for some extra hands here and there.
