Not only does this product work it has given endless amusement. Initially our birdhouse was roughly a little more than a metre away from a hedge and took the squirrel half a day to work out if he climbed the hedge he could jump onto the roof and access the food in the birdhouse. Realising this I moved it to the middle of the garden. I am half expecting them to climb the washing line pole and try that way but as yet they haven't, however, fitting this baffle has caused hours of amusement for us as one squirrel has learned he can get his front paws on the edge but as soon as he tries to throw his body to the top it tips and he ends up on the ground. You can almost see his brain trying to work out how he can dupe it but so far the baffle wins, this is the best thing we have bought and the birds are thoroughly enjoying the feed that the squirrel can no longer hoover up.
