Friendly, responsive crew and knowledgeable, enthusiastic guides (Walter and Monica). The Grace is well-appointed and comfortable. Food was great and they provided good gluten-free options. Two things that stood out:
--Captain Israel was amazing. On the first night of our cruise, a passenger became very ill (unrelated to the ship's food or seasickness). The captain changed course to deliver this passenger back to port for a medical evacuation and then navigated all night to get us back on track with the cruise schedule; because of this, we did not miss any of the planned island excursions or activities.
--Our cruise had 13 passengers of varied ages (ranging from early 30s to late 70s). We were a mix of people traveling solo, in sets of two, and a group of 4 traveling together. The alfresco dining area was set up with a table for 6 and two additional tables for 4. After the first few meals, the passengers expressed a desire to rearrange the dining set-up so that all passengers could sit together. Within a few hours, the dining area was re-arranged to accommodate this request. I really felt like the crew went beyond expectations in making this accommodation, as they didn't "have" to do this. Our experience was enhanced by their flexibility and willingness to respond to our request.
Overall, my husband and I loved our experience on The Grace!
