Ordered the Roam through Smart Home Sounds and the next day it was in my hands being setup! Amazing service. Great price and with the warranty it’s a no brained. So far so good with the Roam.. even dropped it underwater in a hot tub recently and it just shrugged it off! Carried on pumping the tunes underwater. Obviously this isn’t recommended but it proved within a matter of days how tough it is! Battery life is great, had it continuously playing music for around 12hrs. Sound wise it’s got that classic Sonos sound I enjoy from my Arc surround setup, a Play 1 and my Move. It delivers tight punchy bass and very clear high fidelity like vocals that I really enjoy from my music. So impressed considering the size. It looks and feels superb and is just the right weight. I would go as far to say it’s possibly the best product they’ve made to date yet. I would be hard pushed to choose between that and my Arc in ATMOS but the Roam has delivered and some more in my eyes for the money. Anyone considering one, don’t, just buy it! And make sure it’s from these guys with an unbeatable warranty in place.
