Sadly there is only one example for Micropython, and its not a very good one. For example, landscape is not possible in a normal way. On my question the manufacturer responded (!) by telling this is not supported, you'll have to change to c/c++.
There is a work-around. Define your own (rotated) font and push it as an image. Possible, but not easy.
The same for images; no example available but it is possible to do.
I've got it -sort-of- working and will put it on github, when ready.
So it is fun to work with an e-paper screen, but to be honest the mix of Pico, Micropython and this E-paper device is not an easy one.
